Final Round, Championship Match: Lost in Music Vs. Music at the Gates
Finally, after months of preparation, and a month and a half of matches, the final round, the championship match, is upon us. Lost in Music, having survived 3 tough rounds and the only tie-breaker of the tournament, will take on Music at the Gates, the only festival left standing that has survived 4 rounds (having participated and won in the opening wild card round). The winner of this match will take home the title of best created festival.
But that's not all. With your votes, the winner will recieve:
A) A shirt with their festival logo on the front, and lineup on the back
B) Three shows of their choice from my vast live recording/bootleg library (list will be provided)
So remember, make your vote count. Vote for the festival you think is best, taking into account the lineup, maybe the location, maybe the poster, the set times, the conflicts and anything else you can think of. Take some time to listen to some of the smaller bands on the bill, for they could be the ones making or breaking this.
And remember, don't bother voting if you are (or I suspect you are) an alias. Your vote won't count. Also, don't bother voting if you have less than 100 posts, for your vote won't count either.
Voting will end next Sunday. Congratulations to both festivals to making it this far. May the best win.
(*Note* - Music at the Gates did "cheat", as it has both Outkast and Arcade Fire on the same day, when both were on the headliners list, meaning they couldn't be on the same day. It also only lists 19 bands for 2 of the days, instead of the mandatory 20. Lost in Music lists Patti Smith for Saturday on the poster, but has her for Sunday on the set times. Make of that what you will)
