I'd like to check out Brazilian Girls on Saturday. I regrettably missed them at Coachella (damnit).
edit: nevermind. They're on today, and I'll be stuck at work. argh.
upcoming
Bjork doing Biophilia, 6/2 Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA

Its central standard time, does that mean they will be on 2 hours before for the west coast?
Good point.

Anyone watching? Brazilian Girls are on now.
Just checked it out for a good 10 minutes... Looks muggy there today, they sound okay too me..
COACHELLA '07, '08, '09, '11, '13
Only two of these I'd bother watching. Weak selection. But a lot of artists are assholes and won't consent to webcasts, like Tool.
I'm defintely checking out the White Stripes on Sunday, see if it's worth a September trip up to Anchorage for me...

Watching The White Stripes now... sweeeeet..
I tried to watch the Flaming Lips, but it kept stalling. My internet sucks.
white stripes are great...def. plan on going to sd and la now! saw an add on tv for the la show and it had a goldenvoice logo on the bottom. if they are promoting it i will need to make a call to my friend there!
how do they get such an awesome sound with a drummer and a guitarist/keyboard/whatev? def. good for the profit sharing!
edit: just checked ticketmaster and they have a goldenvoice logo on the ticket page...nice!

low fi rocks
the stripes def. have the smartest looking stage crew...nice suits and fedora's, haha.
Widespread Panic are the current kings of the jamband circuit, and generally play 3 hours live anywhere they go, not just Bonnaroo. They have rules that they won't the same song within a 3 concert span, and never ever the same setlist. Just be happy that they weren't given TWO sets at Bonnaroo this year, like years past.
Widespread Panic is a jam band, what else do you wanna know? They get 3 hours cause its like the signature type of band Bonnaroo gets for this every year. If they do post the webcasts to be viewed again it might take a while. Look at how long its taking for Coachella material to be shown again.
Well thats pretty cool their setlists will likely never been the same. It would be even cooler if thier music wasnt so pretentious and boring.
And yeah, I was just checking the Coachella videos. They only have a couple up. I was looking for Bjork and Gogol Bordello, but neither of them are up there.
Can't make it to Roo this year but the Webcast sounds awesome. Had some friends watch Metallica last night and it was epic. Definitely excited for the Yonder one on Sunday. Here's the link to it: www.attblueroom.com/music
Sharon Jones is killing it
I know this, stoked to see her play in a month.
