    Default Animal Collective Appreciation

In honor of the album "Strawberry Jam" coming out. You folks should love this band. There are pieces around... just pieces.

Peacebone is a little weak, it doesn't really retain the intensity of the vocals live. I think it might just be poor mixing. Chores and Unsolved Mysteries are fucking awesome though.

I love Animal Collective. I think their music is beautiful and completely unlike anything else out there right now.

Same, they were in my top 3 for Coachella 2006. When's the actual release date for the new album?

I enjoyed their Coachella '06 set a lot. I sat on the bleachers. It was chill. And one of my favorite sets, out of many good sets.

Reverend Green tears my soul out.

There's something about their music that affects me so primally.

I'll definitely be at the LA show. Even if it means going to the godforsaken Henry Fonda.

Is that a bad venue? I've never been there. I'll probably be in the Bay Area around that time anyways so i'll check em out at the Fillmore.

I dislike it because of the parking as well as the crowd it draws.

I refuse to pay for parking, so I usually have to hunt for an open spot.

I really love Animal Collective. I'm not a huge fan of them live, though.

Especially at Coachella - I'd try it again.
