I'm looking for a computer program...

To help me plan how we are going to layout our yard. Right now there is a bunch of dirt back there. Planning on Sod, fire pit, maybe a pond.

I'm just looking for some kind of "free" program where I can lay everything out, foot by foot and get a good idea of how things will fit.

And yes. I'm too lazy to go out there, and draw it myself.

So basically you just want some simple landscaping software? I had something like that several years ago, I believe it was a freebie type thing with the PC. It was fun to play around with. Just do a google search for "free landscaping software" and you will probably get something.

Go to a landscaping vender, act like you're interested in several grand of fauna/flora, and then go on your way after they do the entire layout for you.

You may get free water/coffee too.
