    I'm looking forward to checking them out. I actually feel better informed this year, compared to previous years. My girlfriend's a music freak, so I have her to thank. I'm bracing myself for when the set times are released. Fear the conflicts!
    Upcoming: 04/11/14-04/13/14 - Coachella Weekend One; 04/18/14-04/20/14 - Coachella Weekend Two; 08/19/14 - NIN/Soundgarden (Isleta Amphitheater - Albuquerque, NM)

    The 2 albums i have are both excellent - caught them live last year at dingwalls and they were even better. They have quite a varied sound. Not everything is as mellow as Young Folks.

    They have a warm, fuzzy indiepop sound going on. I love the Writer's Block album. Don't have the other.

    Both albums are very good. I'd pick Writer's Block though if you don't have any. Its the most recent and they'll probably play mostly from this. Can't wait to see them!

    Who are these guys? For some reason I expect something along the lines of twee music. Something like Simon & Garfunkle or Belle & Sebastian.

    that's what I expected too (based on their name) but it's nothing like that - the name PB&J doesn't do them justice...give them a listen..

    Hear the album here http://music.allofmp3.com/r2/Peter__Bjorn_And_John/Writer`s_Block/group_67751/album_1/mcatalog.shtml?albref=14 Listen to tracks #3, #9, #7 as a good intro to them..

    "Young Folks" is the only song with Victoria Bergsman singing. I only know Writer's Block; I like it. The other songs aren't quite as smooth, maybe, but they're good.

    Love the whistle....the whistle went on for 2 weeks in my house, after I picked up this album. I hope they play just after the sun sets. Just to put a nice vibe on the whole day!!

    All I have to say about PB&J (other than "great sandwich!") is this:

    In the span of one week I heard "Young Folks"...
    a. from a coworker's iPod plugged into our shop's sound system;
    b. on Grey's Anatomy; and,
    c. tossed into an Ed Banger-centric DJ set (to loud cheers) following a Rapture/Hot Chip show

    Now that's what I call mass appeal.

    I saw them on Conan, liked them, downloaded Writer's Block, but haven't listened yet.

    Also, I find it odd that they had the Victoria lady as a special guest on that one song because she didn't sound so great. The dude--Peter? Bjorn? John?--was a much better vocalist.
