I went with silicone under the muscle. 660 cc implants if I remember right. I'm definitely happy with them!

How long were you out of commission? I always think about it, but then I think I should be too old to care at this point. It's been on my mind a lot lately though.

since it was under the muscle recovery was a little bit longer and every time I would lift my arms it was painful but after 10 days or so everything was fine. you aren't supposed to wear underwire bras or get a fitting for 3 months, but I got tired of sports bras and started wearing regular bras after about 2 months.

I used to be anti-enhancements (for myself - it's not my worry what other people do), but in the last several years, I've started to realize I'm going to be pretty unhappy with my boobs in the not so distant future... I'm starting to think that I will end up wanting to get a boob job (a lift at least) in my early 40's. I'd like to not be that vain, but realistically, if I'm single and dating, I'm going to want nice boobs. :P

I've not considered it for myself in terms of size but it might be nice to get a "lift" someday if I needed it. It's great that you are happy with them and how they turned out. I could never imagine being able to go braless but I'm sure it's liberating!

my breasts were sagging way too early for my liking and it was really bothering me. I lost a ton of weight (as noted in the fitchella thread) and as a result my skin was all stretched out. even a traditional lift would have left me with only less saggy breasts so the implants in combination with a lift worked out really well. going braless definitely isn't something I do often, but it's nice to know I can haha.

I love Etsy. I bought some hand made jewellery for my Grandmother and it was delivered with a lovely hand made note from the artist about how she hoped my Grandmother would like the gift.
