Very true, re: brand/condition. Poorly made vintage clothing either won't be around still or will be in terrible condition. Clothing constructed well and made from good fabric (and stored properly) will be the only stuff that has really held up in good condition. There are of course a number of prominent designer labels from that time, but vintage designer clothing is going to most likely be prohibitively expensive for daily use.

I need some good recommendations for face wash for oily skin.
At 29, I really don't want to be constantly breaking out anymore.

Seriously. My skin was a disaster zone before I started using this. I only get one or two pimples right before my period now; I used to have pizza face! It's not drying and it's soap-free. I have slightly oily skin, but it works for all types. Most Sephoras have it; go and get a sample from them!

I wish I'd never ordered anything from asos. Everything I bought was so cute (though a few things were way too big -- I used the size chart so maybe their stuff just runs a little big?). I ended up buying more today. :/

Yeah, I have given them way too much of my money. Some things you just have to kind of look at how the item is fitting and adjust up or down from there, but luckily their return process is 100% painless.

Do any of you have any experience with hair chalking? Last year for Decibel my hair was bright orange/red, and while I'm still dying to do my hair lilac, the fact that I'm still looking for a job precludes that possibility. But I must have some kind of color in for dB!

I've never even heard of it. Interesting. So they just use soft pastels for it? You should come over and have a hair experiment with me.

I was having skin problems and I have very oily skin but if i use certain products I get combo dry/oily these 2 products a my main regimen-

The 100% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Solution moisturizes my skin but never leaves it oily. Depending on what I am doing that day I sometimes apply http://www.amazon.com/CeraVe-Moistur...eywords=cervae
it has SPF 30 and I put this on if I am going to be in the sun.

All skin types are different so who knows but this has worked well for me. Good luck!

Damnit, now I'm thinking about saying fuck it to chalking and just dip dyeing my ends, although that seems a vaguely unsatisfying compromise to dyeing my whole head.

You should dye the ends! You could always cut it off if you need to?

I'm waffling on the chalking, because from what I read, it will make a mess. Pastels are hard to get out of clothes, sheets, etc.

If you set it with hairspray it shouldn't come out until you wash your hair, and then it shouldn't get on your sheets. I wouldn't worry.

And I made plans for my friend to help me dip-dye orange and red ends on Saturday as long as I get enough housework done tomorrow night!

Oh, I am still going to try it. Just not at dB. I'd rather do it at home where I have old towels, etc. I'm staying at a rental and will be held liable if I end up staining their linens. Plus, my hair is really short still, I think it will streak if I sweat.

Edit: I don't really like putting hairspray in my hair because it's so short. I think this would work better on hair's that a little longer. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

I'm excited to do something! I've been so bored with dark brown hair, and I guess if I have an interview or something and I throw my hair in a bun it shouldn't be too offensive if a few stray colored ends are visible.

I used to have the most awesome metallic mini dress from the 70's with a mock turtleneck, long sleeves, and buttons that ran 3/4 down the back. I loved it, but after so many nights dancing in it, it just got harder and harder to get the fresh scent back into the polyester. I hope somebody is out there enjoying it now.
