We drove to Sedona, AZ with our kids and dogs to visit my parents. It's the first mini-vacation we've taken with both our dogs since we acquired our new shih tzu. It was warm (high 80's, low 90's) but beautiful as always. We ended up seeing POTC3 there, and it was just as bad as I thought it would be.

Saturday: worked until 7 pm. Went to breakfast at around 3 in the morning with my drunk friend and her cousin.
Sunday: worked until 2pm. Went to the hot springs in lake Isabella. Played pool until around midnight

i had a shitty weekend, and i found these videos hilarious and comforting.

Sunday & Monday -- In Philly with Becky drinking and luckily missing the Keane show she wanted to attend...oh yeah, and sitting through the third Pirates movie which featured an hour of extended (translation: unnecessary) footage that most releases mercifully don't include until the DVD comes out, enabling you to skip the non-relevant stuff.

Oh yeah, and I need to find a good arcade around here. I want to try that Monopoly pinball game.

Been busy at work. The person that's training me is going on maternity leave in August, and I will be by myself while she's out. The director in my area started with the department shortly before I did, so we'll be flying blind (minus what I'm able to pick up and what little there exists of a training manual) while she's out.

So yeah...way too much work and not enough other stuff...oh well...it pays the bills...
