I might hit 10/6 for the Cure; haven't seen them in ages.

Yeah they are going to add everyoen to Rock The Bells. Robert Smith is going to do an acoustic set before Wu Tang.

Of course, I now realize that I'll be in Hawaii on October 6th, so I won't be going.

I checked the Cure's website, it says that the Download is their second and last festival this year. Then it says "The other nineteen North American dates this year will all be Cure shows". I'm hoping I'm reading that right.

Yep. Didn't they have Beck, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, and I forgot who else last year? Now that was solid.

John's right; the inclusion of The Thermals automatically makes George the worst bill in the series.

    Ha fucking ha.

Boston has four great artists. Chicago has three. The others each have two.

For being punk legends, their sold-out tickets don't move very well.

AFI used to be "punk legends."
Their sound started to change on "Sing The Sorrow." However, I still think that is a great album.
This new album though, was totaly different. They turned into generic pop/punk with flares of emo. They just do not have the "edge" they used to.
I hate to say it, but I have come to terms with the fact they have sold out.
And that is why there is so much hate for AFI here.

Thats cause you bought Vegas and not L.A., ooooops.

And yeah I like the SF line up A lot more now. This means Interpol plays L.A. before this.
