Good times. Decent sound for an arena.
Everyone was patted down going in, everyone!
Me too. Looking forward to tomorrow night.
Lots of Neil fans have $$$ to throw down.
He doesn't have an issue with his records costing 30 - 40% more than anyone else's either. Neil doesn't care about value for money.
Björk - Homogenic
Nice boobs are never stupid.
The Pixies - EP2
I've solo'd at fests many times, even fests I've never been to before. No compromises on when to get there/leave/who to see/who not to see etc. I love it.
Most impressed by these two. A House were f'in ace.
From a 3rd party Amazon seller blowing it out for $20.
To me, this was a great 'sampler' festival so I could see bands I wouldn't normally or see bands I never heard of (Royal Canoe) while waiting for someone I did want to see (!!!).
Now, with a 10000...
Way too few bands now.
Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison.
A 2eye Columbia <--360 Stereo--> from '68
Soooo ..... how about 'dem Seahawks ?
I went to Coachella in 06, 07, 08. Missed 09 due to my daughter coming, missed 10 due to preferring to go to Sasquatch, have had declining interest in going ever since though 13 looked appealing.
I know millions of Americans grew up on the Capitol versions but to me, The Beatles should me listened to as George Martin produced them. Just my opinion.
All of these I own and love. I replaced the listed Robbie Williams album with I've Been Expecting You. I included it for Millennium and No Regrets alone. Getting Neil Hannon and Neil Tennant to sing...
The Beatles ? UK presses.
Yes, I have it. Very good. Amazon Canada has (or had) European pressed copies in stock.
-edit- Holy cow ..... seems to be sold out everywhere. Dang.
Mogwai - Rave Tapes lp
Tame Impala - Lonerism lp
Tindersticks - Angry Saw lp
The Band - ..... Big Pink MOFI reissue.
The Beatles - Peppers, Revolver, Rubber Soul. All 3 from the 80s I think but...
Got through 2 of 3 lp's. Very good but not quite 1977 level good. Comes with d/l's available in mp3, flac or alac.
Enjoy the show, they were great here on Tues night.
Consider Nick Cave as a headliner for Julyquatch.
Ash - A-Z, 3xlp
or you're musically ignorant and need the guidance.
Seeing something on twitter about The Prodigy in Vegas on 2/19
Anyone else know anything ??

I wonder how they (U2) figured they would make a profit playing a show up there ?
Why do you assume Coachella is always worth going to ??
Arcade Fire are going to support U2 on 7/30 in Moncton. New U2360 date.
Just got back from The Nels Cline Singers.
Some great stuff ........... some very jazzy stuff ...... some very noodly stuff.
....... and Sean Lennon on tambourine.
Clear material does little to stop the sun blinding artists on stage which is another problem.
This thread is now as lame as the lineup and ticket situation.
... any 3.
They did. Someone made a post about it last year with a pic, I think, of the new one being craned in.
The Blue Aeroplanes - And Stones
I don't recall that but it wouldn't surprise me.
~15mins on the subway back to near Placa Catalunya (the main hub of the city)
Just go for flips sake.
Nothing more than a sisters-boyfriends-best-friend-forever overhead Jeff Tweedys dog saying they're playing at this point. But yeah.
I can see myself having a teased out Bull Black Nova kick my...
Well, everything is just rumours and speculation at this point. There have been precious few leaks or real hints.
I have a family and my agreement with my fiancee is one 'away' festival a year.
I did Coachella, Sasquatch, Vegoose and Primavera or combo's of when I was single. It's just as cool now; I don't...
They're kinda like the Border Patrol in that respect.
It's hard to call. With Coachella selling out so fast, I'd expect brisk sales.
I'd assume they would be a headliner this year and their own sets run 2hrs or more. They're comparable to Ween & MMJ in popularity if not more. They sold out their Seattle and Portland dates last...
A little over a week.
I'm really interested to see the lineup this year. The Pixies & Wilco are being talked about now on the Sasquatch board. A long Wilco set at The Gorge ??? HELL YEAH!
