i don't doubt they burned (it) up
could've shrunk from nervousness/drugs. who knows.
God i just got to the taser part, that sucks. dude doesn't deserve that for being naked and stoned
is the clapping for the dude or the act in Sahara?
The guitarist for Okkervil River is pretty hot
The drummer's entertaining to watch, but he hits too hard. Especially for something like Long Winding Road.
yeah he definitely doesn't look 67
Let's face it, he isn't The Beatles.
Yeah it's what i figured from Paul McCartney. Although it's kinda cool to see him play some lead guitar. Never seen that before.
haha, awesome. Drive My Car.
For me it's gotta be Paolo Nutini. Seriously that "Shoes" song was one of the worst "semi-hits" ever. ever.
I went to that Santa Barbara Bowl show and while they played for a good 2.5-3 hours, it was still underwhelming. I was disappointed
And no keyboard player, which was lame.
I wanted him to be there....
But Superchunk and Leonard Cohen might make up for it...
haha "Justice symbol"? it's called a "cross" dude
he just wants to make an honest sound, watch it fly around and then be on its way
i love me some good conditioner, but shampoo is essential
the cure have always played at least two and a half hours, even at festivals. i saw them at inland invasion and that's how long they played. anyway see you in the pit in SB!
wow didn't think it'd be that expensive for the show, but i know it'll be worth it...
see you in Santa Monica!
bad choice. they were incredible. perfect band for sunset
no way dude, she chunked up big time. at least 20-30 lbs.
this was on 95.5 or 95.9 right? i listened to it going home on sunday. it was pretty rad, but made me sad that i had to miss the sunday lineup
are you seriously saying The Fiery Furnaces are similar to The Mars Volta?? no way man
and by the way, both Mars Volta and Sparta suck. The only thing worthwhile from both bands were their first...
i know they threw a "Purple Rain" interlude in there. That was pretty awesome
all i need to see on the lineup is:
A Tribe Called Quest
and i'm there.
Deakin the fourth member decided not to tour with them after Strawberry Jam was finished. i'm not sure whether it's a permanent decision or just for now.
these "hipster" fads you guys are talking about have always been around.
oh and i wore black jeans on saturday. wasn't bad at all.
NO. he said "I'm so funky i can't even SLEEP with myself"
On saturday he passed by us on the bleachers at outdoor.
and then later i saw him getting worked on in the field, i guess there were some technical difficulties. he was probably overheated with...
i don't think the term "attention-whore" is the appropriate one for this thread. more like "name-dropper."
i heard people saying Happy Coachella to each other.
i'm a sucker for some lemon-lime gatorade
haha it would definitely head out for the ocean if it had enough steam
"it's fucking hot, and i need a hug" (spoken over and over again with guitarist harmonizing, while the crowd closed in on Tim Harrington for a giant group hug)
(Les Savy Fav)
i saw Busdriver. and that's it
Rilo Kiley is the name of the BAND. The lead singer's name is Jenny Lewis.
Yoakam and Kraftwerk didn't conflict at all. Rilo Kiley was already halfway into their set when Kraftwerk came on.
i did this for Animal Collective, but with better results, from what i've heard.
another song was called "House"
you can watch House, Bearhug and Comfy in Nautica on youtube or via Pitchfork
i have a feeling there's probably a couple dozen cases right in your kitchen, spammer.
haha let the withdrawals begin...
don't worry only approx. 365 days left until Coachella 2009
haha i came over just in time for Electric Feel, and it seemed like they had been killing it the whole set. guess i got there just in time for the good stuff. I was stoked that i made it for Time To...
i had some salmon, fried plantains, rice and spinach which was a pretty good, healthy choice. some bones in the salmon, but everything tasted good. than i had a chicken gyro on saturday which was...
i don't think the argument was that he was a "bad performer" for what he is, just that his music doesn't fit with the past/present epic headliners that Coachella and its fans have become accustom to....
i went throughout Friday and Saturday without having to use the restroom once. ha i'm a fuckin camel
