Oasis>Outkast any day!
I really hope there is onsale for this one. I would hate to drive to LA and it's packed by the time I get there.
Every outdoor show I've seen at Pappy's has had great sound, and it should be pretty special for Little Dragon and Afghan Whigs.
Can you link to that excel spreadsheet davers? please.
Does anyone have the schedule from last year? Doesn't it pretty much in order from the lineup page provided?
I'll make sure to look for you Frank. Just got Floor GA for the National in Santa Barbara.
Who is going to Part Time Punks tomorrow for sisu?
With Primal Scream out I think I'm sitting this one out and going to Sasquatch and something else instead. Bummer, maybe 2015.
Is anyone going to Shearwater tomorrow?
I feel I should love Devendra but for whatever reason I can't stand the guy. Never could! I've seen him live, listened to every album he has released and it doesn't connect.
The Replacements aren't as big as Modest Mouse even with the so called exclusivity. This is my favorite lineup out of any American festival, and it's cheap.
one of the reasons I loved the Primavera lineup. Nice to see he is playing LA, sucks it's with Andrew Bird opening. I mean I enjoy Andrew Bird, but I wish they had booked more adventurous acts....
The sense of urgency is because I want to see the Braves play in Turner field. I may be sitting this one out as well because of Governor's Ball.
Shining and Retox are opening this show, gonna be insane.
Missing Pavement for anyone on Sunday was just fucking silly as shit, and you should turn in your music lovers card. Same thing applies for the Replacements this year.
This basically. It is a shame that Andrew hasn't figured out how to be a performer on stage. At this point it's doubtful he even cares.
I don't know the band Heaven, but the other four on a Sunday night at the echoplex would be a great night of music.
I watch that video and I see the same shit that Foxygen, Tame Impala and countless other bands do live. It's a solid set, we all know MGMT aren't going to be on the same level as MMJ. It seems to me...
I keep telling people that while Outkast is a headliner, they are not the massive draw that many people think they are. They aren't even the biggest headliner at Coachella. There is a reason they are...
I was banking on a show too, at least SD is an option.
Good for a band who never expected to be a footnote, or much of anything for that matter. I enjoy MGMT, and I love that they take risks on their records, especially considering they essentially play...
In three years people will say how much they love the S/T, and how amazing Congratulations is to them.
Thanks for the advice. Did you look up the Braves schedule? if you did, thanks for enabling my laziness haha. I'm getting excited about this. I was sure I was going to make it out to Austin Psych...
I'm afraid you are right. It's such a disservice to do that to them, but it makes sense.
FUCK THAT SHIT!
Knowing you're going makes me want to go even more. I'm gonna look into hotels and stuff like that. Any recommendations close to the venue? If I go to this I may fly out a couple days early to catch...
If set times worked out, I have enough I'd want to see. Do they announce set times a month or two in advance? Doesn't the festival sell out early?
Chill the fuck out son! Are you so bored at work/school/who gives a fuck where you are that you resort to uninspired insults? It's just another theory I proposed while sitting at work/school who give...
Has anyone proposed that maybe the Knife will play after Outkast on the Outdoor Theather? With a big name DJ going at the same time on the main stage(Girl Talk/Zedd)?
Damn I want a lineup to drag me out to this one. I've watched the webcast and it looks amazing. What a bummer, I mean this lineup is decent but is it good enough to make the effort?
Way more popular, Vampire Weekend will headline Coachella/Bonarro/Lolla next time they play. This lineup is dope
The collection of artists/bands for this is amazing, and I'm debating going.
I used to be into Calvin Harris so much, and then sugar top 40 happened. I saw some of his set at Coachella two years ago because I was meeting up with a friend before Beirut, and it was sad to see...
With the Outkast announcement, and lack of "rare" acts I see prices dropping like last year. If you play it smart and look around you should be able to find wristbands for 200-300 dollars. Give it...
Broncos, Colts, Panthers, Saints.
Looking at what they've booked the last two years I'm sure it's coming eventually. I'd actually be all about those three bands at Coachella.
give the 3rd album another shot. Forget what they were supposed to be and take them for what they are(A quirky fun band making good music)
I keep thinking the knife just because that seems to be the only band to make a big enough fuzz about regarding coachella getting to announce first. The knife as headliners?
Them against Outkast or the Knife would be heavenly. I want to see them how I saw grinderman last year, small but fucking attentive fans.
Zero crossover with Coachella at this point, so looks like my assumption was right. Looking at coachella's lineup I expect Afghan Whigs to play. I don't know anyone else they'd book though. Thoughts?
OH SHIT, thanks for those videos of Kate Nash. I saw her at coachella 08 and walked away disappointed and didn't really give her another shot. She is doing something way different these days!
I am hoping that Afghan Whigs play against Outkast, so I can see Afghan Whigs with an awesome crowd. That would be fucking perfect for me.
time will tell won't it? I'm ok with Warpaint proving me wrong, shit it's what I want. Problem is up to this point the EP and debut are both meh to me. I mean I like some of the songs on record, but...
I loved the location of Detour. It's coming back this year actually, I'm pretty sure there is a thread somewhere. I can't wait, and hopefully at the same location.
Nevermind on what I said, I just read three different articles that clearly state the Bulls are cutting him almost immediately. Now I think this is a great trade for the Bulls. Now they just need to...
Damn seeing Deng leave hurts, but I know it's the best for the Bulls. I'm actually thinking the Bulls may hold onto Bynum, I hope they don't though.
I saw her at Bonnaroo 09 and I didn't like her set very much. I do want to see her again though because I've fallen in love with her even more since then. My guess is she had a bad day at Bonnaroo...
