  1. Re: The Office Space Thread II - humanitarian edition

I got 3 bottles of wine, a bottle of vodka, a jar of homemade peppermint schnapps, Cuban eggnog and crown royal. There are definitely perks to my job.

And yes, you should take a lunch.

A perk of working in construction... Getting paged to the conference room at 10 am, getting handed a shot of crown royal, doing the shot while standing next to the HR manager, then being told you can...
  3. Re: The Office Space Thread II - humanitarian edition

I got to work today to find wine, vodka and a pie on my desk. I love the thought and will enjoy both quite a bit, but now I have to go out and buy everyone who bought me something. Boo.

Today was our ugly sweater/pajama day, with a potluck that included mimosas, bourbon dipped French toast and an entire table full of different breakfast meats. Now I am expected to work, but I can't...

As HR don't you have to send out new policies? Make an official policy that people can't use the intercom, then write people up if they don't conform. USE YOUR POWER!!! Our HR lady did that with ring...

The bright side is I tend to spend less money in the summer. I rarely go out to lunch or stop at the grocery store unless absolutely necessary. It takes too long to cool the a/c back down in the car.

    I live in Phoenix.
