is that clear? i think it's more likely that that's the announcement of when the announcement will happen.

I have it, but only in mp3. :{
Aye. It seemed remarkably easy this year, with a couple of notable exceptions (*cough* YUMA *cough*).
I bought tickets for weekend 1 during the presale, not knowing if i'd be able to get time off work or afford the plane tickets.
I'm highly likely to do the same this year.
Worst thing that...
I haven't seen anyone pop up with Sigur Ros from Coachella, but DIME has one of their shows from Seattle the week before.
Sounds exactly like Rodriguez' problems weekend 1.
J5, the specific band he was looking for, isn't on DIME.
Honestly, I can't find a .ts of the J5 set anywhere, and i've been looking, because the youtube version keeps corrupting when i download it.
I somewhat wonder what his definition of 'proper edm set' is.
will audacity do it? i know i've used it to convert .ts to .mp3.
Since I lost my account with the 2.0 share ratio and the > 200 MB uploaded, I'm hovering over DIME looking for anything I can download and reseed that I *want*, in the hopes of building up my new...
Woot! We got it here before DIME did :)
The webcasts on DIME are original .ts files, not youtube rips. Someone uploading a youtube rip to DIME would get in trouble for doing so.
Yar.
I would convert it to mp3 and upload it - I did that to all of them a few years ago with all the .ts files available that year - but for some reason when I downloaded it, it got corrupted...
I agree that he sucked; I really regretted leaving James Blake to see him.
His set had *terrible* sound mixing issues, too. :{
I hope you had a blast both times. :)
I was really torn. I wanted to see DCD. I wanted to see Eric Prydz. I ended up choosing Prydz, but it was the toughest conflict of the whole weekend for me.
I just noticed you have Amon Tobin from last year, too. I missed the rip last year and, being an eastcoaster, I fell asleep trying to watch it; thank you for seeding it! :)
That would mean no Eric Prydz, which would suck. His show last week was kickass.
I had no trouble at FLG or Prydz; I think it depended on where in the crowd you wanted to be and when you got there (although I got to FLG mid-set).
Dog Blood and Bassnectar, I suspect had the...
lasers + dust storm FTW.
How did you know when Hawtin was going on (since he missed his official set time and then scheduled something at a random time the next day)?
Yar. It was pretty clear as soon as the lineup was announced that Four Tet and Hawtin would be impossibly hard to get into. On the other hand, I had no trouble seeing all of Joris Voorn's set.
Maybe our definitions of crowded just differ. I "popped in" for several Sahara acts whom I hadn't intended to see, just because I had time to kill and the Sahara is usually a good time killer.
The...
Wierd. I never had any problem getting up front in the Sahara, even for Prydz. I noticed a lot of congestion at the Mojave for certain acts (Major Lazer, for example), but otherwise it never really...
With EDC, Electric Zoo, and Camp Bisco, there are dance music alternatives. :)
Besides, I expect a pit at Japandroids. :)
I dunno. There are a couple acts i'd like to see each day, especialy since i missed some of them at Coachella:
* Reignwolf
* Polica
* Dinosaur Jr
* Local Natives
* Beach House
* Robert...
One case of beer per person. Boxed wine. Nothing in glass.
Strawberry Shortcake's rendition of New York, New York.

There's a partial pretty lights audio set at http://www.mixcloud.com/ravesquirrel/pretty-lights-live-at-coachella-4142013/
I went to see Prydz. I've listened to a bootleg of the Dead Can Dance set.
I'd say Prydz, hands down; it was a very high-energy note to end the weekend on.
Parov Stellar didn't show last weekend anyhow.
Not true.
Theophilus London is on at the same time as he was weekend 1 - 1.20-2.
Biffy Clyro was on from 2.20-3.10 and has vanished off the set times entirely.
Vintage Trouble has moved from...
Wow.
Given the storm that was going on during this set, the sound quality of the recording is *incredible*.
Thank you!
It will not fit. It will probably not be allowed in.
Gah. I mostly stopped torrenting when I moved into university housing (my husband's in grad school, and we have metered bandwidth) ... so my dime account has been deleted. :{ I've created a new one,...
yeah. Robert DeLong brought out a hologram Robert Johnson, didn't you hear. :P
Sweet, thank you!
I was really astonished. I'd expected them to suck in that way that older acts that haven't done much in a long time can; but they were great, and it was obvious they were really enjoying it, too.
...
Story is the prydz video stream got royally fucked up. (I was in the Sahara, so I'm just repeating what i've been told over and over again).
The audio is up at...
My, you're an arrogant asshole.
No, i've never set foot in Pacha.
I went all the way to Coachella because I started going to Coachella when I lived in California, and because I've had a blast...
He posted it to his soundcloud, so I assume it's a soundboard recording.
yeah, that seems like a terrible misfire. in the campgrounds maybe it makes sense - fewer women camp overall than men - but in the venue it should probably be a 60/40 mix.
and watching a mainstage act in midafternoon doesn't scare you, too?
wierd. i took a nap on a couch for like 20 minutes or so.
Moshing is fun, although probably inappropriate at RHCP.
I'm not disagreeing there. I enjoyed the set, but I was pissed by both the long soundcheck and the absolute disrespect for the other artists.
Fair.
depends. if you're coming from the back right, you have to cross everyone leaving, and that can take forever.
I was in for the entire Joris Voorn set. It was warmer than outside, and *humid*, but that was fine for me. I took a 20 min nap on the couch and then danced to the rest of his set. :)
The sound...
I lost a samsung ST201 digital camera in the dropkick murphy's pit in front of the mainstage saturday afternoon; by the time i noticed it was too late to try to recover it.
ROFL.
Yeah, my path was something like this:
* got up too late to see Robert Johnson, but it's ok, i'll catch him at Governor's Ball.
* went to see Mord Fustang. Was bored.
* went to...
Fair, I'd never seen Moby before. That was part of the reasoning behind going to see him at all.
And to be honest, a part of what I liked about it was its throwback quality. I've come to enjoy...
