I'm looking to buy someone's pass just for Sunday if anyone knows anyone who can't go the last day
You sure? The Echoplex isn't booked this Friday
What time would you guys recommend showing up for Thee Oh Sees/Fuzz show tomorrow?
Wonderful
Really think this is going to be a show?
It seems like not much has changed in four years except that Tobacco is now front and center. Great show though
Has anyone ever seen Black Moth Super Rainbow live? And if so how were they?
No opener. Björk went on around 9. Ended around 1045.
Honestly it was incredible. I was opposite the VIP seating and if you get there around 8 you can get a really great spot, although the...
Graceless and Humiliation are both fucking stellar
wonderful
Holy shit ishome is ridiculous. Where can I find that album...
The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble
Has anyone been to the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz before? and if so what time to the headliners usually go on? I'm heading down there for James Blake tonight
1. HTDA
2. New Order
3. Grizzly Bear
4. Spirtualized
5. Thee Oh Sees
5. Japandroids
I was there they ended at midnight
Laugh at Spooks not me
or I guess they could go after Portugal. the Man??
Seems as though New Order is a lock to close the outdoor at this point
Except Sigur Ros is confirmed for the main which leaves New Order
Joris Voorn
Why not switch Yeasayer and Spiritualized? Yeasayer has become pretty popular and probably have more fan overlap with the Postal Service than Spiritualized does. It would also help alleviate the...
Would also like to echo the praise for the new Thee Oh Sees album. Any fans of Carrion Crawler will feel right at home listening to the new one. Tunnel Time is my favorite two listens through but the...
Why not just switch Major Lazer with either Booka Shade or SMD. Both those are more like the Mojave closers last year and on Sunday 2011 than Major Lazer is. I think Booka Shade would work well there.

The Grizzly Bear, Bat for Lashes, New Order, Spiritualized clusterfuck is absolutely brutal
Also there is no way Major Lazer is in the Gobi. Lets be realistic
Great. Will check out
Listened to the newest Nick Cave release Push the Sky Away and really enjoyed it. I have never listened to any of his other stuff. What should I listen to next?
Mumford & Sons
NIN
Daft Punk
If the new tent is really as big as the Gobi than that is one thing, but if it is more comparable to the dome in 2011 than I just don't see a lot of the acts we have billed to play on the new stage...
I don't understand why with all the electronic acts on the lineup that we don't have the Sahara starting until 2 each day. I know that there are always early DJs in the Sahara that aren't on the...
These guys are tight. I'm bummed I missed them at FYF
Pretty sure this is his live show with a full band
Please let this be in the sahara
No. Absolutely not the purpose of this thread.
This is the first scheduled performance for How to Destroy Angels.
Lou Reed does not play often and is getting quite old
Postal Service probably...
God can this just finally be a thing?
I hate to ask but if anyone wants to PM me a location of the new Pantha Du Prince album it would be greatly appreciated.
I think this is the most realistic fake poster so far even if the billing is a bit screwy.
Awesome. Just saw the Noise Pop show announcement and for $15 that sounds like a great time
How are the Thermals live?
If you Google Coachella 2006, most of the image results are that fake poster with Smashing Pumpkins headlining which is pretty funny.
Looks like there are still tickets available to his show at the Observatory in Santa Ana the next night if you can't find tickets to the El Rey show.
I bet Andy Stott, Burial, Metz and Flying Lotus will be in the top 20 as well
1. The Field - FYF Fest 9/2/12
2. Radiohead – H.P. Pavilion 4/11/12
3. Sigur Ros – Outside Lands 8/11/12
4. Jeff Mangum – Coachella 2012 4/14/12
5. Godspeed You! Black Emperor – Great American...
Put him at night in the Gobi. He was great in the tent at night at FYF this year.
Tame Impala tonight. So psyched.
I will definitely check out Kompakt, Isolee and Total 3. Thanks guys.
Ods those are some awesome recs but I'm already quite familiar with all of those artists and I love them all. Cheers
So I have fallen completely in love with the discography of The Field so I'm not looking for an album recommendation for them but one for a similar artist(s) that others who have enjoyed The Field...
