First things first: make that shit bigger, I hated waiting in line.
Next, artists:
Gorgon City
Boddika
Loefah b2b Skream
T. Williams
Woz
Green Velvet
Absolutely STOKED on a few artists that I haven't seen yet, mainly Gorgon City and Eats Everything. But I feel like that's how Hard always gets me to buy tickets, a few must-sees mixed in with a...
Is there a security check between the day parking lot and entrance into the campgrounds? We are bringing in beer for our friends and don't want to have to throw anything away.
No idea how/why he equated the two. Haha.
I'm sure this works fine if you're by yourself, but no way in hell you can seamlessly move into the line with 3-4 other people behind you.
Hi,
So my girlfriend and I are not camping this year, but have a number of friends camping. Is it possible to park our car and bring an (unopened, of course) pack of beer to keep at our friends'...
So despite the sound issues, was Rodriguez's set even good? I understand he's old and probably can't hit all of the notes anymore, but how was his playing?
I have no interest in seeing The Stone Roses, but I have nothing against them either. However, I really enjoyed reading this scathing review. I read it with a British accent. Thank you.
I didn't go to Coachella this weekend, but I read somewhere on this board that he didn't show up to the signings.
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA...hold on just one fucking minute...
I'm a bit underwhelmed by the lineup...however, living in SF for the first time, is the experience worth the price?
My girlfriend just called me from the car, said a guy from Outside Lands was on the radio, confirmed Nine Inch Nails, Paul McCartney, and Phoenix, as well as some others. Tickets on sale Thursday.
...
Sounds good to me, looks like I'll be checking him out then!
I wasn't there, I am going weekend 2. It's just really strange to me to hear such good thinks about a set like this, especially since this board is notoriously brutal against acts that are anything...
Right?!? Nobody can seem to give me a clear answer about why Moby was so good, and what differentiated his set from any other hard electro set from the weekend.
Oh ok, that's good news. Any idea when Prydz/RHCP ended?
Check out fiftypenny's comment, seems like he commented right as they ended: http://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/comments/1cdl39/disclosure/
I posted this in another thread, but what bender is saying is what I thought Moby was about. I'm really surprised that board members are showing love for his set, as I thought he mostly played...
So someone posted on Reddit that Disclosure ended at exactly 12:22 AM. What time did RHCP and Eric Prydz end? Just trying to figure out how to manage my time around those 3 acts.
This whole line issue is really annoying. I wonder if weekend 2 will be better or worse: better since I'm assuming there are less people going, or worse because it's likely going to be hotter...
I stayed away from the live feed, but was Moby really that good? Serious question, I was under the impression that he played pretty generic sets, what exactly was he spinning?
So happy that I switched to weekend 2.
Artwork. He's great.

TNGHT is going to be crazy. Pick How to Destroy Angels over Bassnectar.
I wonder what people are going to do when they don't hear "the drop"...

Dance party. I'm splitting Eric Prydz and Disclosure.
Only because Prydz lives in the US and he'll be around plenty. You can see him in Vegas pretty much every month this year.
Sorry, maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention, but how/where in this video did they fuck up?
I see what you did there, and I like it.
I am SO HAPPY that there's no real conflict at the end of Friday for me, this is going to be the perfect way to end the first day.
When I saw him at Identity last year, he played it as his last track I believe. It was amazing hearing everyone sing along.
Avicii isn't playing this year to complain about his set time, so I think they're the same for both weekends, minus the Do Lab and Heineken Dome lineups.
Way to read the first half of my post and take it completely out of the context I was using it in.
That set is going to be fantastic.
Yeah.

Haha, yeah I've seen the interviews/set videos where he's absolutely fucked, I really can't wait to see how weird he gets, there's no way he's going to be remotely sober.
Besides DEMF and maybe a couple of other festivals, I'd say at the very least Julio Bashmore and Seth Troxler are somewhat rare. Maybe not Hawtin, but there's definitely some must-sees in that tent.
Another pool party, free with RSVP, Dirtybird @ Saguaro Hotel: http://app.mobilestorm.com/cp/viewRsvpForm.php?q=MTM1NDM=
Anyone know how to get into Neon Carnival, or do you have to know someone?
Didn't the article that confirmed this tent say something about all vinyl sets? I wonder if that's going to happen...
Free RSVP for a pool party at the Saguaro Hotel weekend 2. Big lineup. Stoked.

Same. I'm actually leaning more towards Disclosure over Prydz since I've already seen him 3 times.
Truth. You'll be listening for 20 minutes and it'll seem like he's only played one track. I've gotten absolutely lost every time I've heard Prydz live.
Pete Tong on any stage. Didn't even know he was going to be at Coachella, but he's a welcome addition.
I like being up front for DJ sets so I can be that annoying kid that tries to give the DJ high fives.
But in all seriousness, I prefer middle, slightly more comfortable, unless it's in that...
I was worried about Prydz and Disclosure, but considering I've seen Prydz 3 times I think I'm gonna opt to see more Disclosure.
Not really sure what to do about Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, and Julio...
Pete Tong, don't remember seeing him on the lineup. Works for me, the lineup all three days for the Yuma tent is MASSIVE, can't wait to groove.
Do you really think missing a Rihanna or Usher cameo is "getting burned?"
If Hot Natured is there I may have to reconsider not going.
Gesaffelstein confirmed, live set too: www.gesaffelstein.net
