This festival is not returning for 2014..
They are announcing the 2015 dates tomorrow...
I've noticed with events that as it gets closer they re open the registration and generally every event I have been to has been so overbooked there was no way to get in.
All I remember is standing...
They also said in that article I read that there will be adds.
It didn't sell out last year.
It's all fast food chains and business complexes. The only thing of note is there is a Sonics nearby, that's about the most exciting thing. There is a Chick Fila but I think they are still being...
Oh man, now I have to go!
The Drums will be performing at Bunkhouse on Sunday Oct. 12th with special guests Beverly. Tickets will be on sale Friday August 15th
LP - 9/3
David Grey - 9/2
It's amazing to me that Burger Records has a festival every month!
I had lots of fun at this festival. Haxan Cloak reminded me of Coil. The set up was great, the people were so friendly, loved goose island, overall it was lots of fun.
It was odd the endless line...
Wednesday August 20th, Future Islands, 7 PM, Grammy Museum
At least they have beer...
I always pre game with pocket shot, it's the only way to get booze into the venue totally undetected, a liquor store near me carries them...
Check this link...
Right by the Shrine? Free birds would be nearest to the venue, burritos, tacos, etc. It's pretty good.
If you are talking about Saturday and the ace, the nearest is Umami Burger and Two boots...
I saw they had an application of change of ownership of the Roxy posted on it. I wonder what they are going to do with it, the application said uses, general, food service, something like that.
That's a cool line up!
I am going to the festival and have a hotel room not too far. If anyone wants to split the cost please PM me.
I noticed they announced some after shows.
Has anyone been to this? Any reviews? Tips? It just seems too good that one price includes room, food, drink, booze and music...
It just looks like the cheapest tier is sold out.
I consider this subject to be non-problem, non-issue.
Have you seen this video with Teri Gender Bender??!!??
It's censored barely..
This is way better than previous years!
Looking at the poster I am noticing more and more things I want to see that I didn't notice the first time.
Andy Partridge's son Harry is a web animator and created this psychotic piece...
Pollstar lists some band called Catfish and the Bottlemen playing..
Never heard of them..
The last act they added was The Maine. ugh.
Line up for 2014 is Monday!
Jeremy Davis' on stage antics are very entertaining..
Are the videos confirmations? So that would make Arctic Monkeys and Alt-J.
AXS ticketing makes no sense at all, sitting in the waiting room gets you nowhere fast. Sure you can log in before the on sale time but it doesn't seem to help your search time or how good of tickets...
the basic live nation password is loyalfan it's the facebook live nation etc. pre sale...
How was Elton John?
I went to the Portugal the Man one, it was crowded but not insane. It was very fun and for how big it was, it was set up well.
KCRW is sponsoring more free concerts at the Annenberg as part of Country: Portraits of an American Sound. Like Who Shot Rock and Roll it's free with RSVP. Pretty amazing if you ask me that it's all...
My friend really likes Joel Gion (from BJM) & the Primary Colours...
Early bird tickets are on sale for the 2014 edition...
I think the line up might be better...
bandsintown is amazingly inaccurate it confuses Playa del Rey California with some place in Spain that has lots of DJs play.
Belle and Sebastian at the Ace with Kevin Drew opening. I'm in!
I think last year they announced the line up and then the EDM acts were added later. I think I recall that.
This line up does seem way too good to be true.
I noticed this is called off for 2014...
Someone in my office was reading this today...sigh..
The cheapest place on the strip is Casino Royale...it's not pretty but it's in the middle of the action and cheap.
How is this festival? Anyone have any experience / advice??
This is the first festival where I don't know one act on the line up...and I don't know the band, "Jerry on the moon" but that is a lousy band name.
It's a great venue! Very friendly staff, great food, fun bowling, etc.
The sound and venue itself are very good too.
They even let us bowl for free because it was early and nobody had shown up...
987 4th of July Block party looks pretty good! Sorry if this is a re post!
And it's free!
Semi Precious Weapons
Brick & Mortar
Some contest winner
The only time I've ever seen the Protomen was at several PAX Prime's....
I remember when built to spill played this at this ain't no picnic...
I had no idea, like I said, I had never heard of them and was too lazy to google.
I had so much fun at this last year, not sure about the new venue though.
I do like the line up!
