I gave it a day to make my judgement on the lineup, and I'm seriously confused as to why people are bitching about it. I understand the price increase for the tickets sucks, but this lineup justifies...
Holy shit. All I have to say. And I agree that OSL should've gotten The Cure over RHCP. Hell, Lionel Richie would've been better!
All of Daft Punk's collaborators will be playing at the festival. Without Daft Punk.
MBV and Slowdive on the same night? Shoegaze heaven.
They should've been here this year. Signed.
Mangum in 2012 was amazing. This is another level. Just perfect.

The Good:
- Yuma was fucking awesome!
- Dodgeball in the campgrounds was fun.
- The Sahara looked great.
- Phoenix's set.
- The art was great!
- Never really ran into any rude people this year...
If NIN, Depeche, and Daft are there next year, I will cry out of pure happiness. I don't think they will continue the trend of promoting smaller acts to headliner next year though.
Stone Roses- Crowd sucked. Ian can't sing anymore. Rest of the band can play very well though.
2 Chainz- Don't even know why I went to his set. Maybe as a joke. The crowd was composed of people I...
I'm seeing Sigur Ros in Santa Barbara next week, so they're out of the equation for me. Phoenix vs New Order is the most brutal conflict for me. I am leaning toward Phoenix at the moment, but I am...
Greg Ginn last year was indescribably bad. Luckily I was spared from watching Cee Lo in 2011, but some in my group weren't as lucky and basically had their days ruined. And I may be in the minority...
Have we explored The Cure as a possibility?
I luckily bought two eager beavers. Altogether with fees, it was $450.
Has anyone been to this festival before? I'll be in the UK at the time the festival is going on and my sister wants to go to this. Is there anything I should know before buying tickets?
He was one of my bucket list acts too. Damn.
Similar to Amon Tobin last year.
Also the anniversary of the Columbine shooting.
System of a Down on July 29. Only US show for the year.
I can definitely see him getting a later time. Or at least moved to a larger stage. And on a side note; everything I've heard from the new album is great. Can't wait to see what he's like live.
Someone earlier mentioned My Bloody Valentine as a possible headliner, which doesn't sound too crazy
Blur/Stone Roses vs. Beach House
New Order vs. Grizzly Bear
DIIV vs. Tame Impala vs. Cloud Nothings
I'm bracing myself for at least one of these to happen, sadly.
Lou Reed for Friday and Grizzly Bear for Saturday.
I'd switch Cloud Nothings and Smith Westerns. Cloud Nothings is perfect for a mid-day Mojave set.
No order:
Blur
Stone Roses
Lou Reed
Beach House
Sigur Ros
Grizzly Bear
New Order
Wu-Tang Clan
Probably a glitch or something, but I found this on the website earlier.

Likely the product of what happens when you give a 16 year old boy a MacBook Pro.
I see Grizzly Bear as an Outdoor evening act this year.
Sunday altogether seems really weak for me. Chili Peppers were the biggest surprise for me, and not in a good way.

Shields was my personal favorite album of 2012, and I have yet to see them. Extremely excited for them!
A Slowdive reunion would be so cool. Neil Halstead said a reunion is possible, and Coachella would be perfect.
Looks like Hardwell will be there...

I'll contribute

I hope this isn't too good to be true. This would be great.

I seem to agree with what most of you are saying about the negative aspects of the festival. (The crowding, the talking, the lackluster sound quality on the stages, etc.) But overall I had a good...
That Sigur Ros/Metallica conflict is just painful. But everything else seems to work out well for me. Although I am wondering if I should even see The Walkmen knowing that I will miss a chunk of...
In the same boat as you. The top two bands I wanted to see all weekend also... But I do agree that with the idea that Sutro needs to be utilized more at night. Explosions on that stage at night would...
Damn, Saturday is stacked for me. Sigur Ros into Metallica would be interesting. Gonna be interesting to see how they work out the set times.
The Stone Roses
Spiritualized
Death Grips
Sigur Ros
Beach House
TV on the Radio
Blur
Of Montreal

Glad to see I wasn't the only one disappointed with M83.
I respect Greg Ginn as a musician, but I just couldn't tell what he was doing up there.
1. Radiohead
2. Dre and Snoop
3. Pulp
4. Bon Iver
5. Justice
HM- Jeff Mangum, ATDI, The Rapture.
Biggest Disappointment was M83.
I thought they sounded fine. I did know what to expect seeing though, knowing that the setlist would be compromised of mainly KOL and IR songs. However, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't play...
One of my friends cancelled last minute. $350. Cash only. Only one unregistered GA wristband. PM me if interested and we can work something out.
I'm still lost as to why he's closing the Sahara on Friday.
Abe Vigoda: 12:00 - 1:30?!?!
Saw the Oakland show last night. Truly beautiful experience. Although I am curious to see how the "no cameras/recording" rule will play out at the festival..
What stage would M83 be playing on assuming that they might close a stage?
