Way, and I mean way more entertaining then watching the xx perform. I enjoy listening to their music but every time I've seen them live it's been snooooozeville.

How did Paul Oakenfold get in there? Did he pay GV to play?
I thought so too, and now... I'm not going to '13. There isn't anything to draw me, I've seen _everyone_ that I have interest in except for Blur. I'm just hoping for them to do some other dates...

I feel so lucky to have KALX in the Bay Area, it's no set genre but they tend to play a ton of indie / contemporary stuff.

add Björk and I'd be 100% satisfied with this lineup.
That new song is missing all of the dynamism and energy that made me like them so much.

I'd much rather a holographic 18-28 year old Paul McCartney leading the Nirvana Reunion.

I saw a solo Ben Gibbard show at the HMML this September, kind of unplanned. Not a huge Ben Gibbard fan outside of Postal Service. He did 3 or 4 Postal Service songs on acoustic guitar. I think he...
Couldn't agree more but since he just did his Christmas tour I'm guessing not. Even though he is playing Walt Disney Concert Hall on April 22.
Saw him in SF a couple of months ago with Jamie xx. Amazing set and would definitely appreciate to see him in the desert next year.
Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps, but I think they're still too small for GV's radar.

I'd say this was one of the finest examples of trolling of all time, except that I think they might be reverse double trolling.
It's true but the tickets sold out already so you're going to have to buy them from a scalper for about $700 a piece.
Nirvana reunion with Paul McCartney
Creed tribute band with the original Smashing Pumpkins lineup (minus Billy Corgan)
Thom Yorke doing only Björk songs ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQWqEbFdoLI...
I got tickets for Weekend 1, I'm betting on more artists being into it the first weekend than the second weekend. Also until they actually get approval from the city (don't see why they wouldn't),...
The randomness is indicative of shitty service. Not sure if GV elected to use this because it would cost them less... but I have no problem using Ticketmaster, even with fees, because their service...
He's playing SXSW, definitely should have been signed on for Coachella
I would give GV another $100 for this, even if Radiohead didn't show up in their place.
Beirut would do it for me.
I'd be happy with almost any 5 bands from the Coachella 2004 lineup.

Seriously, what is it going to take to get a...
103 Harriet is about 6 blocks away from Mighty, and has a way shittier sound system.
The Vitalic show got moved to 103 Harriet (1015B Folsom). Tickets go on sale next week. I was looking forward to the show being at Mighty, I really dislike 103 Harriet.
Vitalic's live set is...
Yes yes and more yes.
The world would implode from sheer awesomeness.
There is this really awesome French duo, they're totally going to be the next Daft Punk. I don't think anyone in the states has heard of 'em. Here is their MySpace profile.
He has more talent than some of the other acts I've seen at Coachella.
So many countless L.A. acts that are stellar. Lucky Dragons, Rainbow Arabia, Glasser to name a few.
April 16th.
Different musicians. Bright Eyes has always been Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott. While Nate is in the Mystic Valley Band, its not Bright Eyes, it's a side project. Just like Sunset...
great accomplishment. if you had started the kanye west would do bisexual porn rumor, i might give you a pat on the back.
Arguing with a forum admin (especially PF) is totally a waste of time.
Sneaking into Coachella is the best way to go.
Can I get the presale password?
The dates are fairly indicative of them playing Coachella. They're a really enjoyable band to watch. I've seen them in tiny and large venues and its always been a great show.
Seems to be the only possible candidate for such a hold up. Announcing to LA (and the world) that the Smiths would be reuniting without having a solid confirmation could ignite riots if it fell...
...there was no line up...
Jesus these people can't write.
I skipped out on White Williams and Tilly and the Wall after Foals did their set, they really just rocked me that hard.
Foals would have been great, I saw them at Treasure Island and at the Treasure Island after party (which was even better, louder, crazier) that same night. One of the most promising "rock" bands...
Just waiting for the lineup to see if its worthy of going to instead of coacheezy.
After seeing most of the EdB crew in relatively small places, its really hard to imagine going to any of the enormodomesque shows coming up. Not to mention with Justice's mainstream fame, the...
I saw Islands (with Why? as an opener) and it was a decent show until Nick decided he might not play the rest of the show because some 16 year old accidentally splashed some water on his equipment....
I've seen Animal Collective a couple of times have been impressed with each performance. I love how they bleed songs together, and also reinvent older material with new renditions.
The Berkeley show was fan-fucking-tastic
MadM is definitely not in the band.
The original Pollstar listing for the shows was between the 20th and 30th of July, 8 days at the Fillmore.
