Do Lab definitely tainted the experience, but as far as sound quality goes, it actually was not that bad for the Outdoor Stage. The Outdoor stage is notorious horrible in terms of sound quality.
It was mockery. They had no respect for the audience, this was painfully obvious to me. They were upset with Golden Voice and it showed.
First of all, I did go see the whole Horrors set.
Secondly, I was at a fucking Beer tent on the Public Enemy side, but couldn't hear them at all because of MBV.
Thirdly, Of course it felt great...
I'm sure there is variance to a jet engine's sound. And it was more than 10 minutes into PE's set. I don't even care for Public Enemy, but when I went to check it out, people couldn't fully enjoy PE...
If you really thought that the "wall of sound" was amazing, then at least admit that you would also enjoy standing right in front of a jet engine. For that matter you should listen to all your songs...
