yes, people wait for bands. if you are looking forward to seeing rage & you want to be anywhere near the front, plan on staking out your spot a few hours early.
hopefully the forecast is right. even still, it will get at least a little breezy at night, its the desert.
bummed yes... but i've never seen rage &always wanted to. IM plays in LA all the time... probably 3-4x at least. they will be at EDC in june too. so my full attention will be devoted to rage.
Nice! Thanks! :)
light sundresses would be fine for the day. i usually wear a bikini top or thin/light halter & a denim mini &i'm comfortable. the evenings do get a big chilly/windy, so you *might* need a light...
$210 - two days of tickets
$115 - hotel for one night
$020 - gas
$200 - food, drink, etc.
____
$445 est.
but probably less than that... it will only be that much if nobody splits the room...
i'd have to agree with all of those !! although for some reason, i just can't see them pulling any of those subliminal djs {shrugs} would be nice though...
&cassius !!! :pulse that would be...
i did his style. i'll be there for his set.
That wasn't even a live set from Pendulum. Just a DJ set...
Pendulum LIVE with all the members is supposed to be insanely good. I would have loved to see that on the line-up.
DJ Heather on Day 2 for some bumpin house music to step to...
I think it was in 04... I must have seen at least 8-10 different guys wearing skirts. Short skirts.
This is probably your best option if you can't find any ticketmaster locations near you.
LAX is going to be the cheapest, but one of the furthest away. Probably a 3 hour drive plus however long it takes to get from the freeway exit to park (always backs up so plan accordingly).
Palm...
Country Inn &Suites in Rancho Mirage... the closest room I could find when I booked yesterday morning.
definitely looking forward to the rapture... i have yet to experience them live, but i'll have my dancing shoes ready ;)
eh... i would have been excited about him a few years back. this year, not so much...
Friday: Bjork, DJ Shadow, Peaches, Interpol, Evil Nine
Saturday: RHCP, Girl Talk, MSTRKRFT, The Decemberists, LCD Soundsystem
Sunday: RATM, Placebo, Soulwax Nite Versions, Lily Allen, The Kooks
They will be awesome, regardless of the type of set.
I just booked a room for Saturday night 4/28 at Country Inns & Suites in Rancho Mirage for $209.
The only way it wouldn't be completely devastating is if she was reunited with No Doubt & they only played songs from No Doubt, Beacon Street Collection, & Tragic Kingdom.
Bjork.
In the last year, he has. Prior to that, no he didn't. Maybe once or twice a year. He makes more money doing "Tiesto in Concert" live shows with 70k people there JUST for him outside of the States.
The electronica line-up isn't totally weak; but it definitely could be better. There are a few good electronica acts scattered through out all three days, but nothing too solid - at least as a WHOLE....
LAX is about 2-3 hours from the Polo Fields. I wouldn't advise driving back &forth every day from LAX to the event. Your best bet would be to get something closer, in Palm Springs.
I've gone to a few Coachella's in the past, but only with a one-day pass each time. I live an hour or two away (depending on traffic), so the drive isn't a big deal to me.
I'm wondering if its...
yes & the 3-day pass is around $250 i think?
The cell service has been horrible both years that I went, so I wouldn't rely on text messaging. I would recommend setting up meeting points/times through out the day. Or what my friends & I usually...
Tiesto is cool because he doesn't play the US very often. PvD, on the otherhand, plays at least 6 times a year in LA alone. So who cares...
I would love to see Cicada! Or Mylo... or some live P.A....
