This isn't a result of music getting worse. This is a result of the internet. Now smaller bands can become known easier, and as a result what people listen to is more spread out.

He was very unimpressive when I saw him live. But that was at my school in a building with shitty sound quality.

I'm hoping for Queens of the Stone Age and The National, and Modest Mouse if they manage to get an album out this year.
