    Shouldn't make too much of a difference to close the Marriott one and save $85 / year. You can always try to ask Barclay to increase your limit. Or pay the Barclay one off twice / month.

    Number of accounts matter, but also the ratio of your current balance relative to your total credit limit. Having lots of small accounts open is not so favorable. Having a couple with larger limits...
