Only on Giorgio by Moroder but I can't believe they made a track like this. It's so good. This album is becoming my favorite of the year with each track so far.

That's what I was thinking. Only reason I can imagine why Outside Lands wouldn't have snagged them. They only played the Fox show last September (which was so awesome btw).
I saw them weekend 1. They were killer! Just as awesome as Treasure Island. Great band, love the singers voice!
Because it was my first Modest Mouse set (excluding Bridge School, but that was only a few songs), I was actually pretty happy to get some stage banter. It shouldn't matter if its a festival set. In...
Only time I felt overwhelmed was moving from Vampire Weekend to Pretty Lights, with the beer garden lines doing nothing to help the situation. But other than that it was ok.
Wow, I didn't even notice. Very sly trolling.
Damn you Glastonbury. You guys win!
Yeah it was a decent set, but I'm really glad I went to his night show on Thursday night before the fest at Bimbos. Getting to see him and his ridiculously talented band tear through a 2 hour set in...
I've seen some shows with great sound at the Outdoor Stage. Hot Chip 2010 comes to mind.
This. I was sort of counting on Stone Roses closing out the main stage so I could go catch HTDA close out the Mojave. Otherwise I'll have to do a Blur/HTDA 50/50 split which would suuuuuuck.
Yeah but Jack White, Beck, or Foo Fighters haven't headlined Coachella.
Sure did. Got Sat and Sun. Need Friday. But most of my friends got shut out...
Phish always provides one of the toughest tickets these days.
I wish. Didnt get the lottery at all. But Ive pulled off getting into all the shows I've needed to get into so hopefully it works out this time. I'll be there no matter what, they are one of my...
Sweet! They didn't play Like Ice Cream when I saw them (played everything else though). Hope they play it this time around!
I'll be there all 3 nights. Bill Graham is the best place I've ever seen them, you're in for a treat!
Didn't the Glastonbury organizers already state no Daft Punk a couple months ago?
They come back in 2014.
Every time I hear Black Swan I always am transported back to that incredible set. Words can't describe.
Treys solo at the end always takes me "there". Same with alot of Phish songs. Good choice.
The Greek only holds 8500, so three nights is like selling out one large arena or amphitheater show (a very large one, but still, fathomable for a band like Mumford and Sons).
Or dozens of other bands/act that choose to headline festivals even though they could sell out a tour anyway.
I say the burden of proof relies just as much on the portrayal of fact vs. speculation as much as it does on the likelihood of the claim itself. But alas I see where you are coming from.
<- always...
Yeah I happen to agree, just tired of people acting self-righteous without hard evidence to back it up. Don't knock on others for speculation, because that's all it is.
Absolutely. The people going to Phoenix with no interest other than Daft Punk have a huge chance of being supremely let down. Those of us however who actually love Phoenix and have been waiting to...
Well fucking prove it, tough guy. I mean goddamn it's all speculation. Not banking on it, just saying what makes you 100% sure?
This.
So you skipped Atoms for Peace and the Gorillaz? Big mistake.
They should put Yeah Yeah Yeahs to close out the main stage if they wanna draw a crowd.
Headliners always get 1 hour and 15 minutes at most, at least that's what I remember with LCD, Belle and Sebastian, EOTS, Death Cab, and The xx. Not much of a full set.
Yep. First thing that crossed my mind. Bummer it might mean no proper show, but Treasure Island is a great place to see music so it'd still be awesome.
I'm hoping no SF date means they eventually come here or at least headline Treasure Island since its 10/19-20
They are the first listed subheadliner. Main stage 8 o'clock.
Hoping Blur plays before the Roses so I can follow their set by Modest Mouse on the Outdoor and How to Destroy Angels in the Mojave to close out my night.
Yes to Hot Chip! Been listening to them again alot lately thanks to Coachella excitement. Their show at the Fox last September was such a party, Twin Peaks closer for sure!
Thanks for echoing my sentiments whenever I hear people calling for a full orchestra at a rock concert.
This, although it was still an enjoyable set. But yeah, ushering in the early part of the sunset on the Outdoor Stage in 2011 was nothing short of magical. The crowd was pretty enthusiastic too from...
I'm really digging this essential mix. Pulls from some interesting genres as I would expect from Thom and Nigel. Gotta love when Thom's voice comes drifting through on certain tracks of course.
People actually thought that? Because bands generally enjoy only having one album of material to play from on a whole tour or something?
Big must for me. Discovered how awesome their show was at Coachella 2010 (sounded so good on the Outsoor Stage that night). Saw them with YACHT as their opener last September at the Fox in Oakland....
5/22 - Holy Ghost! at The Independent
Shame it's the same night as Matthew Dear... But think ill go with Holy Ghost.
Killing me with that Blur vs FOALS conflict. Of course I'd choose Blur because I'm sure Ill see FOALS somewhere else this year, but it doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.
If you haven't seen by now:

5/18 - MGMT @ Frost Amphitheatre, Stanford
I have a picture kinda like that!

Those are all second Bay Area shows aren't they?
David Byrne and St Vincent:
7/20 Mountain Winery Saratoga
7/21 Fox Theater Oakland
See you guys at the Fox! Glad to finally catch this show!!!
I really dig it. And I also like One Way Trigger. Looking forward to this album and the hopefully ensuing summer tour we missed out on in 2011!
It seems legit so I might go ahead and get tix. Seems they are just hitting up Santa Cruz and Vancouver because they are playing Snowglobe in Colorado.
Does anyone know anything about the Presets show on 3/11 at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz? I saw tix were for sale and its on the band's songkick, but not on the venue website and I haven't seen it...
05/30 - !!! (Chk Chk Chk) @ Rickshaw Stop
