Is there still any possibility of Primal Scream, I was thinking since they removed 'Fat Freddy's Drop', they could replace them with The Scream! Would be dope! (And yes, I know FFD is nowhere near...
I nominate 'YACHT' "Psychic City, Voodoo City", I was doing my usual Coachella research and recently found this little gem. I can't stop listening to it. I know they will not be the biggest act of...
They are touring now in Europe playing 'Screamadelica' in it's entirety, that is why I mentioned that album, plus it would translate very well to the polo fields, I love all Primal Scream albums, but...
Can't miss LCD, that's a tough one, saw them at Coachella last year and a few months later at the Fox Theatre, Pomona. They are one of the sickest live bands ever! So dope!
Let's hope Primal...
Performing 'Screamadelica' in it's entirety at sunset! This would be sweet! They have mentioned there is a reunited group that is playing that hasn't made any lists, perhaps it's Primal Scream :)

Yes, sorry, you are right, I thought their last shows were in June, I stand corrected. And for the record Meg had "acute anxiety" and this is not considered nutz or "nuts" by any means, alot of...
Well by the time Coachella comes around it will be just under two years since the White Stripes played live. Their last show was in June 2007.
It's been two years, it is time for the White Stripes to play Coachella again!
I was checking out their website, very cool, and they have no tour dates posted, however as a side note they have something on their homepage that resembles the testa coil, hmmmm
Was hoping for them in 2008 but The Raconteurs played instead and were awesome.
THE WHITE STRIPES for a headliner one night would be fine by me, rock on!
This would be hot! Haven't seen them in concert since the 80's, great band and would be a great Coachella act! Book 'em!
That's probably true, I agree, there is enough good stuff at Coachella already, can't wait!
Oh well, worth a shot, I like a lot of different kinds of music, Jam bands are just one of them, heck I spend a lot of time in the techno tent as well, I just think a good jam band might be a nice add
Anyone else think Coachella could use a good Jam band for 2009? I think 'Phish' would actually be awesome as they are reuniting in March for three nights at Hampton. 'Widespread Panic' or 'Medeski,...
I would love to see Steel Pulse there this year! I was thinking Coachella needs a few good reggae acts, Toots & the Maytals would be great as well...
Ok, I have done some homework, and here are acts I am predicting (and hoping) for 2009 Coachella that would be dope!...
1. The Presets (almost a definite, they are playing Glass House on the 20th)...
I had heard that the entire original line up just reunited in Los Angeles and played a club, I could definitely see this happening, and it would be great. Perry is always there in some form...
I too would hope for 'Bowie', haven't seem him live in years, first concert I ever saw him was in 1983 at the US festival in San Bernadino, I was 10 years old. I think that is why I am such a music...
A miracle 'Led Zeppelin' Sunday would be good too! Never gonna happen, but it would be stellar!
I would like to see 'Jane's Addiction' as a headliner one night, also I am hoping for a back to back year for 'Black Kids' as they jam so hard, and they could do back to back years as their album...
I'd really like to see Widespread Panic! They jam so hard and would be a fun addition to a festival with such music lovers. They headline places like Bonnaroo and Vegoose, why not add them to...
HOT CHIP was sooo great! My other favorites were Sebastian, Kavinsky and Midnight Juggernauts were tight as well. Sahara was nice this year, Hot Chip definitely was the best that I saw, so much fun,...
I wanted to add that the bass and sound for Portishead was so loud and deep that it completely rattled my soul. I was shaken up in a good way, it was so emotional, Beth was perfect and she almost...
Portishead blew my mind, they were so epic, It was one of my favorite live performances EVER by any band, and I have been to over 300 concerts in my life. I wouldn't even be able to describe how I...
Hot Chip was by far one of the best acts of 2008! They were HOT! And it was hot in that tent, If Portishead hadn't rattled my soul so much and sent me to Level 32 in my skull, I would have said they...
I agree! Let the obsession begin!
I have a vision of Bob Dylan being added to Friday as headliner, don't know why, I just need a Dylan fix and Friday seems like a nice comfy spot for him to join in the fun, as long as artists are...
Pabst Blue Ribbon!
Too funny! I love this one, we won't miss you dude, Coachella '08 is gonna be amazing, and if you don't like artists like Fatboy Slim, Death Cab, MMJ, and especially Pink Floyd, they yes, you really...
Bowie is one of my HEROES and it would be amazing! Seen him years past, even in the Tin Machine incarnation, But I really don't know how the Bowie thinking for this years Coachella got started, LOL,...
I'd really love to hear 'She's a Superstar', that song is so groovy!
Madness is great in concert, hope they show up, make for a good ska act!
Baggy Trousers, Baggy Trousers!
Friday is gonna ROCK!! Thanks Hawk! And by the way, I happen to think you have a good ear for music, cheers..
U2 is an epic band! Haven't seen them in years, but an all time favorite of mine. I am looking forward to seeing this 3D flick! If you like U2 and you want some U2 live action sounds, there is a...
Hey! Just a poll to get a feel for what bands would make the best Sunset acts this year on the main stage.
I'm gonna start it off by saying..
The Verve - doing Gravity Grave would be nice!...
Saw Muse at Coachalla 2004, they were intense! I'd like to see them return in '09
I really wish I could find a copy of THIS fine album, word on the street is that it's out of print.
My only hope is a Coachella 2009
