The new Dillinger Escape Plan album is fucking awesome
http://pitchfork.com/advance/108-one-of-us-is-the-killer/
Honestly the festival never felt crowded to me this year. I was able to walk up to at least the soundbooth at every set I saw. I also didn't even bother walking near the Sahara since it was 95%...
1. Disclosure
2. Booka Shade
3. Postal Service
4. Foals
5. A 4-way tie between: Local Natives, Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip, and Portugal The Man
HM: Franz Ferdinand, The Faint, YYY, Passion...
Modest Mouse / Local Natives - This one really sucks. I really hate splitting sets but I might have to here
Postal Service / Simian Mobile Disco - REALLY?! The 2 things I was looking most forward...
New song.

So I am staying at a house with a few friends while most of our other friends are camping. My question is how long before and after the show am I able to park in the day parking. For example, could I...
I'll enter the dick waving contest with some beers a friend in Florida sent me:
9754
Saw them at FYF and on the Danse Macabre tour last year and they killed it both times. I plan on seeing them again at Coachella.
Boring side projects from 2 guys that come from far more exciting bands.
I really can't stand Skrillex, but this is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. I'm sure that has a lot to do with Boys Noize.
Not even sure if this guy still posts here, as this was from 2007, but I'd love to try Midnight Sun M someday (although I probably never will)
Oak chips would make sense.
Stone Smoked Porter isn't barrel aged at all, just brewed with peat smoked malt
For Oaked Arrogant Bastard they used oak chips.
Set aside a Dark Horse Bourbon Barrel-Aged Plead the 5th for tonight. It will be my first beer of 2013.
They don't use wood casks at Stone, all of theirs are Aluminum.
Dexter season finales always give me anxiety, that last 5 minutes or so was intense.
Overall this was one of the better seasons of Dexter, not as good as 4 or 1, but worlds better than the...
That's quite a find!
Doakes will finally get avenged

Zwanze is a very difficult beer to get outside of Belgium, but I can assume its fantastic since its Cantillon and they always do fantastic beers.

I am glad they finally set in motion this season what will be Dexter's downfall, with both LaGuerta (blood slides) and Batista (Victor murder) both on paths that end at Dexter.

Looks like they are breaking up again. I'm sad but at the same time they accomplished what they set out to do in the first place, so I...
4 bottles per beer (so you can get 4 bottles of Nelson and 4 bottles of Duet, ect)
Expo bottles are gone, but it's still on draft, along with Hoppy Birthday and Bad Boy.
Also the Stone store...
The Faint fucking killed it, easily the set of the weekend for me
This whole Converge/Desaparecidos/Nicolas Jaar/Health clusterfuck is really frustrating.
I came up with
Saturday
Pains of Being Pure At Heart
Warpaint
Purity Ring
Tycho
M83

Had a growler of Stone Enjoy By 9-21-12 last night. IMO it's the best IPA Stone has ever made (and that is saying a lot considering how much I loved the Ruination 10th Anniversary).
THE BLOOD BROTHERS
Next time make sure you press . button when holding shift, not the = button
I am really excited about The Faint, been wanting to see them for years
I was disappointed by it when I had it as well. While good, it doesn't taste like much more than your average Imperial Stout. I'd personally choose Stone IRS over it.
Little Dragon was my favorite, followed by Boys Noize and Squarepusher.
Seemed like it was about half the people they showed on camera's first time hearing "Hey Jude" :nono
Purity Ring - Shrines is really good, check out the entire album on NPR

New beer mail arrived!
Dear god, where did you even get all of those?!
I went on a mission to hunt down some Firestone Walker Parabola today..

Be just a relationship based on a false presumption?"...
You can buy a starter brew kit of your own for about $100 - $200, then you can feel like a proud parent when you are drinking your own beer :thu
Anytime someone says they didn't play "hits" in this thread, they mean Radiohead didn't play their personal setlists. Just keep that in mind and it will make a lot more sense.
I knew that fad wouldn't last long enough for people to still be apart of it by Coachella
The Rapture completely blew my expectations away, I figured they would be good but god damn.
Grouplove was also surprisingly good. I just saw them to kill time waiting for Madness and found myself...
Their performance could have been the best thing ever witnessed by humans and someone on this board would still complain about it. Don't let the haters kill your excitement.
This was one of the best sets of the weekend for me. Omar did seem stiff, but he played everything great so I can't hate on him for that. The rest of the band seemed like they were having a lot of...
They were really on point at Coachella, I'd love to seem them again at their own show
Refused fully delivered, as did the crowd. Amazing set
I was near the back of the tent and the music wasn't nearly loud enough, I could hear people talking over it even when they were using their inside voices.
People will complain about anything and want every band to be their own personal jukebox
I bet almost no one cares they didn't play Creep, people are more upset they didn't play more Bends/OK Computer/Kid A stuff.
While it would have been cool to see those old favorites, I personally...
since when are Karma Police, Idioteque, Paranoid Android, There There, Everything In It's Right Place, and 15 Step not "hits"?
1. Radiohead
2. Bon Iver
3. At The Drive-In
4. Dre and Snoop
