And lots of trap.
Porter Robinson as a headliner would be awesome.
I heard that there will be a new tent dedicated solely to hologram sets.
Friday Sahara Headliners: Deadmau5, Dash Berlin, Gasaffelstein
Saturday: Justice (live), Hardwell, Carl Cox
Sunday: Porter Robinson, Axwell, Avicii
People don't like Coldplay? They must have "sold out", as the experts often like to say.
Yeah, I would be excited to see them but I know that the crowd would be full of a bunch of Instagramming, self-obsessed high school cunts just like Outkast.
Everyone before the lineup is released: "Wow! Gonna be sooo many good vibez! New venue!!!! I heard this guy's playing guyzz, omg HARD Summer is like the new EDC!!!"
Everyone after the lineup is...
But then if they shared it Coachella would go mainstream.
Sonicc, you are a God. Who do you want to see headline the Sahara Tent next year?
I heard Nickelback is a confirmed headliner. And apparently the whole Young Money squad is playing the Yuma Tent.
I know it's irrelevant now but the Sharks loss still hurts like a bitch... It's gonna be a looong Summer.
Hey sonicc, have you officially lost your hard-on for Martin Garrix now?
JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GAME! GOOOO SHAAARKS!!!!
Anyone know who the guy in the Cardinals jersey is? I've seen him in pictures on the board and I thought I saw him this year.
Sonicc, can you please start another argument with electrotek or knowyourhouse? You had a pretty epic one going on that Martin Garrix thread for a few weeks.
Did you go in 2013? The Sahara Tent was packed pretty much all the time even during day sets.
Girl in Sahara during Martin Garrix: "WHERE'S ALL THE DUBSTEP!!!????"
Because everyone knows that construction workers go shirtless and wear boardshorts.
Nah, Daft Punk is soooo 2013.
Yay sonicc is back! So how about that Garrix set on Friday?
Well if Brown wasn't such a dirty, pathetic excuse of a hockey player, Hertl would have won the Calder. Hertl wasn't even looking at Brown, how could he have extended his knee?
Those are the worst fucking people in the world. I hate when you hear "dude, should we leave now?" or "this is boring, when should we leave?" If you have to ask whether or not you want to be at a...
I'm still dissapointed about the lack of furious arguments I've gotten in with opposing fans on this thread.
Okay, the Sahara Tent was twice as packed last year. I don't know why people keep complaining about it so much.
Sveden? Isn't that where all the hot girls are?
Sharks 16-0 Stanley Cup run. Calling it now.
Yeah dude, that's creepy as fuck.
This thread should be named: "The Official First World Problems Thread"
What's wrong with the name "Cody"?
I think people get a misconstrued perception of what a "good crowd" actually is. When I say "good crowd", I mean a crowd that is moving the whole time and is actually into the music.
This guy gets it.
This is why nothings gonna change:
He opened with Animals and that was it thank God.
I'm starting to realize that putting two totally opposite generations in the same music festival is a terrible idea.
Martin Garrix had a great crowd, it was just really packed.
Didn't catch Pixies but yeah, that Disclosure crowd was just pathetic.
Hey Sonicc, you never gave us that review you promised. Are you still in shock?
In your opinion which shows had the crowd the most involved? Which shows had Outkast-like crowds?
Or just hadn't been to Coachella or any music festival for that matter. I've seen Coachella way more crowded than this year, especially 2010 and 2012.
I don't know why people keep saying that the lineup wasn't as EDM heavy last year. If anything it was way more so.
Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Knife Party, Baauer, Bingo Players, Benny Benassi, Richie...
I 100% agree with OP. I saw so many fake bitches at Coachella this year staring at screens 80% of the time. So many self-obsessed people these days and Coachella served as a pretty shocking reminder...
Disclosure was an absolute clusterfuck. Martin Garrix probably had half of the festival packed into the Sahara tent. I wish there were aerial shots for all of the sets just to get a better perception...
His set was awesome. I was really glad that they booked him this year and he definitely lived up to the hype.
The Sahara looked much worse than it was. Once you actually got into the thick of things people were pretty good about respecting personal space and keeping their distance.
1. The Outkast crowd not recognizing the above moments as Knife-esque, Brechtian-alienation "performance art" wherein being intentionally shitty is actually GODLIKE GENIUS on a level you...
Was it just me or did the amount of mollied-out bros seem excessively high this year?
Seriously, is it really ruining "your" festival? Last time I checked, Coachella prided itself on displaying a variety of musical culture. As a person who attended Coachella mainly for the EDM portion...
