    Re: The Chipotle Thread

You obviously don't go there for authenticity, it's gringo Mexicano, but I work in Glendale and there's one right near my office. I'll totally eat the shit out of it. It has vegan meat, which is...

Re: Beer. Not shit beer. Good beer.

Andrew and I got some Pliny the Younger last night. It was of course delightful. I'm posting here because some dude I met in line told me about this place: http://maximilianohp.com/

Seems like gears might be useful for this, friend.
  4. Re: Los Angeles Record Club (is better than SF record club)

Also, Wurst is near Angel City Brewing and if people want to get growlers, that could be a thing.
  5. Re: Los Angeles Record Club (is better than SF record club)

We meeting at our house or at Wurst?

  8. Re: Saturday is the Single Worst Day in Coachella History

What day do you usually do them? We're only free the 11th if it tends to be on a Saturday.

I'm glad I skipped them. I love the hell out of them but their live shows can be very snoozy. Though I did like them at Solid Sound.

Re: Solid Sound Festival (Wilco Fest!)

It was an awesome festival in a totally gorgeous setting. We stayed in an apartment in an old Victorian.
Saturday's crowding was pretty noticeable in contrast to the other two days, and I had to...

  30. Re: Jubilee 2013 - Formerly Silverlake Jubilee, now in DTLA Arts District - June 7 &

Yeah, they have a nice surf/garage vibe happening. I'll most likely be at that stage (Sunset) all night on Friday. Obliterations! Bleached! Trash Talk!
  31. Re: Jubilee 2013 - Formerly Silverlake Jubilee, now in DTLA Arts District - June 7 &

HIIIIIIIIIIII! Sometimes I lurk, sometimes I post, more lately because I am so excited about QOTSA tonight and all the awesome DTLA shit coming up.
  32. Re: Jubilee 2013 - Formerly Silverlake Jubilee, now in DTLA Arts District - June 7 &

VIP is open bar and some other perks. You can get VIP for $100 on some site that was posted earlier.

    Re: FYF Fest 2013

Yes, and the later start time makes it more feasible this year. Wurstkuche was a great way to lay down a giant beer/sausage/amazing fries base for all the boozing we ended up doing. I'd also be open...

Yes we went last year and we pre-gamed with SonnyBoy who is now our neighbor. We went 2010 and 11 also; I am pretty sure Andrew has gone pre-2010 also but not 100%.
  43. Re: QUEENS of the STONE age appreciation thread

Got one (GA floor). Seems to be sold out now. EDIT: NM, just pulled loge. Keep trying!

  45. Re: QUEENS of the STONE age appreciation thread

Not sure if they have a curfew, I've never been at a show later than 12:30 there. Boris will probably go on late-ish, *and* the Echoplex tends to run late so it's possible, but I imagine die-hard...
  46. Re: QUEENS of the STONE age appreciation thread

Didn't it say doors at 6pm? Conceivably one could go to both.
  47. Re: QUEENS of the STONE age appreciation thread

This better not be the announcement of like, a Nick Oliveri DJ set at the Rustic.
EDIT: Well good. Looks like QOTSA, then Boris.
