explain the RHCP last year then...
Considering new record comes out in late Spring, and they've often been rumored for Coach, it could be possible...I'd be up for it though, yes, not like the old days...
I was in Lot 4 for Sat and Sun and it was really no problem getting out. The problem was the shuttle I took on Friday-great to get in but I didn't get to hotel till 3am even though I left partway...
PLacebo, no doubt. I like Klaxons fine enough and I've seen Placebo 3x but more is better in this case!
My bro is sick and cannot come to fest thus I have his 3 days to offer to lucky person. $200 for the set. I am in CO but will be in LA Thu afternoon and can make the exchange there or in Palm...
missing Kraftwerk after Radiohead...just too flippin tired
my favorite vacation frmo the real world!
I am lucky enough to live in Boulder now and have 19th row tix to see her at Red Rocks! STOKED-though Coach will be the first time I've seen her live...
Lovely place...hope to meet up with some folks. My bro and I were there last year but would be cool to meet some peeps before...
I have had my Coach tix for a week or so now, so I would be worried if I were u. I bought pre-sale but that shouldn't matter...
Sounds nothing like Decemberists and I've seen both live, though PLacebo more times than Decemberists. Placebo is generally much more rockn while Decemberists are more indie/intricate. ANd I don't...
do you fold the TP or crumple? in quiring minds want to know!
Dude, the puffer exists and I've been through it. You walk into this cubicle thing and they blow air at you (sterile molecules is BS though) to lift any nasty chemical powders you might have on your...
Wow-I saw Walkmen for first time at Coach last year and promptly ran out and got two records which I love. THat's what I love about this fest-the "who the hell is this?" turns into "OMFG. I must...
First time-had just moved to Cali and saw the Pixies/Radiohead line-up and went-ok, I will check this out...The whole thing is an experience! New bands, old bands, incredible people watching, three...
Been to Coach 3x and Broo 1x so far (yes it wa Radiohead that got me to Tennessee in the summer just as it was them and Pixies to get me to Coach 1st time)...
I will go to both as long as I have...
Bjork, Brian Molko and Rufus Wainwright. Not necessarily in that order or in their preferred orientation...
THird for the Dandy Warhols!
And while we're dreaming...XTC!
I'm bi so this question doesn't weed anyone out but if I could make it with Rufus Wainwright, I'd be a happy chick! And Tori and/or Bjork would be a good thing as well...Oh yeah, not sure which way...
Not in order cause it changes with mood...
Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and Sleater-Kinney: Coachella

It seems to be a great show whenever I;m traveling in a rental car and can get it. I've been impressed but not enough to buy new radio and subscribe. Just a pleasant surprise!
I'll be 40 by the time the NEXT (08) Coachella rolls around and that will be my 5 th one, on top of 15+ Bumbershoots and hundreds of other shows... Don;t have to be a teenager to enjoy the...
There is no reserved section in front of stage. Only VIP can get reserved area and it's actually to the side and rear often of stage. At least for the last 3 years.
The maragaritas were made with Soju, a rice wine type alcohol. No hard liquor at all (unless maybe in VIP areas).
We camped first time (2004) and it was a VERY mixed experience! Being very close to the special separate entrance, meeting people was all good. The 2 hour lines for showers, the security mayhem,...
Coachella weekend is the official beginning of summer for me!

They can be great fun live and they can really suck live. Everything after BloodSugarSexMagic has been decent but boring, with a few individual songs excepted.
But they've been on tour too much...
Trail of Dead played in '04 and it was during the day and it was BRUTALLY HOT...I love that band (seen them twice since October) but it was just too hot that day for us (or even them really) to get...
Hats are hugely important-sunburned scalps are no fun and not being able to see due to the sun glare sux too. Beer gardens are plus and minus-from some of them you can see and hear fine if you don't...
Stupidest thing was last year, I had to get rid of two PENS I brought in. One was a nice work Dr Grip gel pen and the other was a Sharpie for autographs. I complained but "oh you could stab...
REM
Smashing Pumpkins
Modest Mouse (the only real possibility of these but hey, wishful thinking on this thread)
The Police (only one of above I've never seen live damn it)
saw them last coach and it was great! They blew me away and I had to buy several CDs afterwards...a fun surprise which is what Coachella is all about to me...
Nothing new...no Pumpkins or Police sigh. Everything else is pretty much known. So when does Coach site actually post it so I can start researching the bands I don't know?
still stalling...now will have to listen to INcubus before they annouce...and Im going to be late for work!
Awesome news-one of my fav bands and they kick it live!
