Thanks. Is that how it has worked other years? I've never needed to get merch after the festival before.
I was ripping it up all weekend and didn't even think to stop by the merch booth until Sunday night. They were closed. The guys there were laughing and saying "you had all weekend". I guess they were...
The only thing that sucks about this thread is the consensus here will likely convince uninformed Coachella-goers to venture towards seeing bands like Cloud Nothings and Descendents. I don't want...
Was It Orion? I was there but I only heard Float On as I was walking from Suicidal Tendencies to secure a good spot for Arctic Monkeys.
I fully agree with you regarding Cloud Nothings. I wasn't able to cross paths with them last year. So jacked to finally see them live. That record was in my top 5 of 2012 for sure.
Bestest:
Descendents - Saw them September in Toronto...fun and mayhem from start to finish. Might be my favorite band at Coachella, but shhh don't tell everyone.
Portugal. The Man - Seen them 3...
Descendents vs. Anyone
Friday
Top Tier: Blur vs. Grinderman vs. Lou Reed vs. How To Destroy Angels vs. Metric vs. Jurassic 5
Lower Tier: Foals vs. Divine Fits vs. Alt-J vs. Modest Mouse
...
I have, and they totally sucked.
Yes to the 1st one.
I'd never heard of this band until the lineup was released. Really diggin it though. Definitely gonna check em out.
buwahahahahahaaaaaa....cough...cough...ahahahahahaha
I'm excited for a lot of bands on this lineup...but I don't listen to any of them as much as I listen to Descendents.
Yes please!
I agree that it sucks. It'll be my first Coachella not spending the last triumphant moments of the festival at the main stage. Fortunately there are at least 6 other stages I can choose from.
...
I have already discovered 10-15 bands I was unaware of before this lineup got released. Not to mention all the bands from the 80's I am reacquainting myself with. Friday and Saturday are loaded....
You guys have got it all wrong. They should be looking for a Saturday headliner. Phoenix should not be headlining Coachella. I'm glad they are in a way, because I won't have to spend much of my day...
Oh..and I like his maniacal banter between songs. It's funny as fuck.
I really want to see them, but Friday is so loaded. Hopefully they get an early set on the Outdoor stage or something.
Their new track is so good despite the silly video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRR_pvZcu-o
She's got so much energy. Quite a few good songs as well. I saw her at Made In America in September and she killed.
When I saw him in Vancouver last time they closed the set out with California Uber Ales, Police Truck, Too Drunk To Fuck, and Holiday In Cambodia. Try to top that shit.
I'll fucking be there for...
Seems like a lot of us expected/hoped for Queens of the Stone Age.
Queens of the Stone Age
Atoms For Peace
Bjork
Rocket From The Crypt

Then after pondering on Blur, Descendents, Grinderman, How To Destroy Angels and Cloud...
Trent is NIN...but Maynard is not Tool. Tool is a collective output.
I agree. As great as all the bands I saw were the last 3 years at Coachella, each weekend felt like it was building to a brilliant and unpredictable main stage conclusion. Gorillaz, Kanye, and Dre...
I don't know about you guys, but I presume we are going to make some painfully difficult choices on Friday. If I knew how to get the message through, I would plead to the organizers to make it so I...
I have seen them 3 times now and I'm happy Coachella 2013 will be the 4th. The first time I caught them was at Coachella in 2010...I was so shitfaced for the early afternoon set...I remember none of...
The 1st time I saw them was in 2006 at Germany's Rock am Ring festival and coincidentally they were also opening for Depeche Mode. That set was shit...terrible sound. We left halfway through. Saw...
See you in the front row
Last time I saw Jello with this band he played these 3 songs and Police Truck to close out the set. Expect more of the same at Coachella.
I thought they might book Bad Religion too, but they already have a Hollywood show booked. They'd be much better than Social D. If Social D gets a 40 minute set and it doesn't conflict with anyone...
Well they shouldn't be.
What he said
How many great acts are we all going to b forced to miss on Friday. I wish they dumped shifted of the top 7 from Friday to Sunday.
Not better than last year. Still really fucking good though!
I buy it. They played up and down throughout North America and all over the world last year including Coachella's prime competitor, Lollapalooza.
Since I started hitting Coachella in 2010, the...
Ya...you and me should be friends
Kyuss
Them Crooked Vultures
Queens of the Stone Age
Vampire Weekend
The XX
Two Door Cinema Club
the hard-on for drab hipster headliners repeating at Coachella goes full on in 2014
Country Sad Ballad Man and Parklife and I die happy
There are going to be more people in the tents at night than ever before.
How about it?
Descendents
Jello Biafra and the Guantanemo School of Medicine
Social D
Dropkick Murphy's
I will surely be at the first 2, if not all four. They did draggin in good punk acts...
Prediction: He brings out James Hetfield to sing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54mm_BG3e8o
Who actually thought Phoenix was headline worthy? I waited impatiently through their fodder packed set in 2010 to Atoms For Peace who would have been much worthy as a headliner in 2013.
I love...
Collaboration on stage for Some Kind Of Nature with Damon Alburn?
Good idea right?
Utterly satisfied face

It's still like that on Coachella's home page.
