I like the Love is Blindness cover.
I thought their weekend 2 set was awesome. Good mix of old stuff with only 4-ish from Mosquito. Sacrilege with choir was great. Crowd was really into closer, Heads Will Roll. Highlight of my Friday,...
I don't see too many complaints about driving in or day parking. We usually drive in Washington to Avenue 52. Should I expect any issues this weekend?
Can anyone report on experience getting diabetic supplies into the fest and storing/retrieving them from the medical tent this year? We are going weekend 2 and my wife with gestational diabetes is...
Everything seems to be available for rebroadcast this morning.
Beardyman forgot to bring a band.
I'm catching Stars next weekend and these last few on the stream are just psyching me up. It's not going to make seeing them live any less fun.
Just know that I understand it.
It's like an Eminem concert where everyone flips him off the whole show.
Jake Bugg's doing his big hit
Checking out Jake Bugg, since I'll probably catch Stars next weekend. Sounds good, packed tent.
Oh, yeah. That's it. I liked his line about how he could leave for Portland or New York, but he'd rather try to make the place he was from better during the SB1070 debate.
I moshed a little, but mainly just behind the pit. My pit days are almost behind me, so standing behind it lets me feel like I'm at least sort of in on the action. Yeah, it was a good set, got some...
Sweet, I will get a chance to see Metric.
Totally, I really wanted to see Metric, but Divine Fits/Japandroids wins.
Everything is back burner to Japandroids.
Japandroids / Divine Fits / Metric
Of Monsters and Men / Passion Pit
Rodriguez / Tame Impala
The Black Lips were fun as usual. I also dug Andrew Jackson Jihad.
It's like quicksand of awesome. I just sink further and further in.
Ripping on SNL is played out.
Not to dissuade anyone from ear protection, but I tried these and they weren't enough for me. Their Noise Reduction Rating is -12. I actually prefer the foam cheapies at -33.
Ha, well, maybe not smart, but at least well thought out.
Totally, thanks Autopsy and Boourns for all your effort. Really took the baton from Clumsy and ran with it. And thanks to Travelfan, Rage, and Concertgoer and everyone with smart contributions.
This is a tally of what we boardies, a highly non-representative group, are looking forward to most. Not which acts will have the largest crowds, nor even which acts we will attend.
Usually, a sign of not actually being funny.
Metric, Japandroids, Stars, and Alt-J all at the same times stinks for me, but Japandroids wins easily. Maybe with a little Alt-J before.
Sometimes a nap is nice, late afternoon recharge especially. Real Estate was great for this last year.
I am going to Black Lips. Their set last year was the highlight of my Coachella.
The Lumineers - Every song
I could say I saw them.
This would be great. More room for me.
Green Coachella and bug.
I always read his name as Kid Cuddly
I don't give a damn about either. Sorta wanted to see the Big Pink, though.
My closers:
2007 Arcade Fire
2008 Black Mountain
2009 The Kills
2010 Phoenix
2011 Kanye
2012 Dre & Snoop
I don't see Stars on the Main. We've basically have them in the same spot as 2008' but their last two albums haven't really gone anywhere. I could see a lot of bands slide into their spot, though......
Agree about 2 Chainz. But Santigold was on the main, so why couldn't Janelle Monae be there, too.
My wife will be seven months pregnant, so yeah.
actually this is more likely the closer

The Divine Fits / Japandroids flip makes a lot of sense. Divine Fits as sorta super group going a little later feels right.
This day's day is nuts. From 3-7 I want to see everything on the Main...
Everyday fewer people care about Franz Ferdinand.
I am excited.
"Let the Groove In" is "Rhythm is Gonna Get You" by Gloria Estefan.
I'm all for letting spelling mistakes slide, but the name of the band? Where you are from? And the word Spell?
The use of horns is just right. I always dig his voice. Another great album from Phosphorescent.

Digging both of the new singles, especially Diane Young.
I can't see your picture.
What are you weighting? You are doing a simple average/mean of the ratings in a month. Unless you are grouping multiple averages, you are not doing a weighted...
It is a mean (add up all ratings divide by count, which is the same as sum product of rating 1-5 and number of votes for each), unless I'm missing something you are doing.
...
That is a mean, not a weighted avearge. I'm not a fan of graphs where the axis doesn't start at zero. Starting at 3.5 make 2010 look better than what the numbers show.
But otherwise, thanks for...
You should be familiar with all the acts on the poster at this point.
