Re: NEED WEEKEND 2 SLEEPING ACCOMIDATIONS

You can try Lake Cahuilla Recreation Area. I was able to book a spot there yesterday. $20 per night plus a $7 booking fee. It's about 5 miles from the festival. Good luck!

    Re: Kroq Coachella House

Cabs are pretty easy to catch. They have an area where they're pretty much waiting for passengers.
  3. Re: My friend bailed and now I need a place to stay wknd 2

I just booked a tent spot at Lake Cahuilla Recreation Area. It's 4 miles from the venue and only $20 per night. I've never stayed there, but they only have overflow lawn spots left, so if your...
  4. Re: Need a place to stay week 2? I have car camping

Hey SanDiegoChella, I'm an 8 time Coachella veteran whose lodging fell through. I don't live in San Diego, but I'm willing to drive there and share the ride. I'm easy going and get along with just...

Did single day passes ever go on sale last year? Didn't the festival sell out with three day passes?

On my PC and everything's loading super slow. Other sites are fine, so it's definitely something happening just with this site.

I'll be at Shadow Hills too. I've stayed there before. It's pretty quiet after the fest. They have a barbecue by the pool where you can buy burgers or chicken sandwiches (pre made Costco patties),...

I think they like to have the option of having single day tickets available, so I doubt they go to wristbands this year.

Re: Just announced shows in San Francisco

Haha! Yeah it is weird to refer to them that way, but the whole issue is Lemmy's health. I guess I should have specified him and not the band.

I'm feeling optimistic about them making their Coachella performances. A full European tour is a much bigger commitment than a couple of shorter than normal sets that are two and a half hours from...

Yes!!! This makes the Jack Johnson add bearable!
  16. Re: MissingPerson's Official Lovely Non-Threatening Arcade Fire Joy Parade.

Haha! I was just about to post this! They had added Jack Johnson after The Killers dropped, so I, disappointedly, thought he was the replacement. This makes things much better!

I thought the undercard was just the same old bands who played every other festival over the last few years and just delivered the same show with some new songs added. I've been to this festival...

Re: Neil Young (and Crazy Horse)

I always say I'm going to skip Bridge School, but it's just such a nice, affordable, feel good show to end the concert season with. Plus, the money goes to a good cause. So, I'll be there on...

I don't think the location is a problem as much as the timing. There were several successful music events at Laguna Seca in the 80's and 90's and the population in that area has only grown since...

Re: Just announced shows in San Francisco

I just watched them on the KROQ webcast and I liked it. This lineup needed some rock and a band with a hit filled catalog. I think it'll add some energy to that stage. I know this really isn't an STP...

Re: Just announced shows in San Francisco

It's not MGMT or Vampire Weekend. One of the Live 105 DJs said the same band will be a surprise act KROQ's Weenie Roast on Saturday. Therefore it's not any band on the Weenie Roast lineup or playing...
