Fun Fun Fun line-up in May...
Oh man, they started with "Start a War" at one of their Chicago dates.
FACTS ARE FACTS AND FICTION'S FICTION.
Also, really happy Mono is in the tent.
I'm pretty good on the conflict front. Might have to leave some sets early but whatever. Stages are close to one another. I'm surprised they're putting some of the bigger names in the tent. Also,...
Yes and it's not even close IMO.
I also lol'd.
Are they bringing single day passes back? I can't remember.
Pretty sure #15 is LicktheLizard.
^ Plenty of smaller US festivals that are great. They're a nice breath of fresh air after attending major festivals for so many years.
I always knew you were a 1 percenter, Dave. Asshole.
Henry Rollins is currently sitting across from me at this burrito place I'm at.
I'm going to be broke by the first day of the festival.
Agreed. I'm surprised at all the hate it got when initially released.
Kind of disappointed to see that their setlists haven't really changed since I saw them last October. Hopefully since they sold out 3 nights here and Austin they'll surprise us.
Good to hear!
^ That's awesome.
They were originally schedule to perform in the dome. However, Odd Future blew the fuck up and were subsequently moved to the Sahara (which was pretty full).
I mean, I get taking pictures and what not. I do it myself. But people who check in on fb at *every* stage they go to and have these prolonged conversations on the board/fb kind of blows my mind.
Yeeeeeaaah. Maybe (hopefully) Bonobo will do a DJ set somewhere else in town that weekend.
Looks like almost every APF artist will get a print this year. Excited to see the full series.
Now this is what I'm talking about:
Really excited to see the full series.
Those are rad.
Nice. Wonder if any more dates are coming...
Indeed. I can't wait to hear Dan's collaboration with Lana Del Ray. /sarcasm.
I used to really love this band. C'est la vie I suppose.
This thread. Masterful.
This probably won't be helpful, but the majority of my purchases have been after the fact/second hand. It all just boils down to supply and demand in my experience. Some of my least favorite prints...
Can we get a report please sonicc?
Good to hear! You would probably dig his DJ sets, too.
I think (hope) they'll have it together by the time ACL rolls around.
I had to google "Future" last night.
I haven't listened to a ton of records so far this year but whatever:
1. Cloud Nothings - Here & Nowhere Else
2, Liars - Mess
3. St. Vincent - St. Vincent
4. Cheatahs - Cheatahs
5. Moodymann -...
Well, that's not very plur.
I heard there was a huge line too.
I've seen Big Boi put on great sets. Surprised he wasn't any good either.
Any of you jerks going to the Austin show?
This is where I was earlier. However, now that I'm reading all of my friends' fb statuses.... sounds like the crowds are getting worse.
Are people really posting on the board while they're at Coachella? Good grief people.
It doesn't really take a lot to excite the masses these days it seems.
This is the way the wind's blowing it seems and promoters are seeing it. Unfortunate. Oh well, plenty of smaller fests out there.
Oh. The pot calling the kettle black. Cute.
EDIT* And I have no interest in seeing the Knife in their current state.
Agreed. Also, Kim is gone.
That's kind of surprising.
I got "Martin Short."
