Anyone know the name of the last song they played in their set?
Why would the US need another EDM festival? Much less Southern California. GV could afford to pull this, so they did and it'll still sell out for years to come. The bookings of both Blur and SR is...
I really hope Animal Collective is playing before GNR.
He's one of a handful of country acts I can stand. Seems like he's taking a demotion because he can easily sell out arenas on his own.
After the third line, the lineup seems very weak.
Faygo WOOP WOOP!
I was there that year and saw all three bands. Whether they're closing that stage or not, they're still subbing. The vast majority of people at that side stage end up seeing the headliner anyway. ACL...
Different festivals and setups. Lollapalooza has two different sides of the park. You're basically opening for the headliners if you're playing on the side stage...on that same side of the park.
That's basically subbing. Considering they played longer than MGMT did on that same side of the park.
Where do The National stand? Do they get the exact same time they got in 2010 when they subbed for Arcade Fire, or are they the "weakest" headliner for the group? They're not billed too high for...

Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Mumford and Sons, The Killers, The National, and Postal...
SXSW isn't a festival, it's more of a trade show if anything. There's tons to do, but in all, it's just a bunch of different shows happening at once at different venues, so it's very unconventional.
The preliminary lineup for Houston's Free Press Summer Fest has been announced...it's fucking stacked as ever.

The...
Yeah, I'd like to know too. Particularly because I remember the hate for it, but not the aftermath.
I don't understand how Phoenix is a headliner, but Vampire Weekend isn't. Seems like they have the same size fanbase, eh?
Jack Johnson, The Killers, Muse, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Phoenix.
We've had this discussion each year since '08.
People on FB are bitching about Friday's headliners. Anyone else think we'll get a big name headliner added on Friday similar to the Prince add?
2010 was the last time KROQ had the lineup released in the morning, but most of the lineup had been leaked by the LA Times that morning.
Grizzly Bear all but confirmed.
Pretty sure those two will conflict unfortunately, they sort of have a Lolla setup, but Phoenix will most definitely be on the smaller main stage while Fleetwood Mac do their thing. Last year Eagles...
Spiritualized just tweeted that the dates were wrong. Wonder if it means they're still playing or not, but they called it a snafu.
Kendrick's album missed the album by a few months. I bet it'll be nominated next year.
Tobacco just tweeted that BMSR aren't playing SXSW after all.
Earl Sweatshirt anyone? He's playing that newly announced festival in New Orleans, would seem like a fit considering the rest of Odd Future has played before.
Austin Psych Fest announced their lineup today and there's usually some crossovers. Would love to see BRMC, Deerhunter, and Clinic on the fields.
Titus Andronicus, set of the weekend.
NVM!!
But I don't know if YYY's can headline. I remember when they headlined ACL and their field was as empty as I've seen it for a headliner on that side of the park.
This just gets better, doesn't it?
Blur announced they'll be doing shows in 2013. I'd say they're still a possibility now.
Some of those acts you mentioned may be adds to the lineup. They usually have some late additions. Last year they had Spoon and Black Lips among others. Looking very much forward to seeing Imperial...
I saw one positive review of Grandaddy on here, anyone else see them and how were they? I was stoked they were on the lineup and hope to hell they come down here for a show.
Whole lineup is out in their site...this is unreal
The thing that's been bothering me about ACL the past few years is how quickly it sells out. The past three years the fest has sold out to e-list subscribers, so no 3-day passes have been sold to the...
Flaming Lips, Black Keys, and Girl Talk
I think MMJ could easily headline as well. Last summer 101X in Austin played the shit out of "Holdin' on to Black Metal" and they headlined ACL the same night as Stevie Wonder and a shit ton of...
I thought quite the opposite, with their new stage setup and lighting, I'm sure they'll be main stage considering they're the biggest Sahara type act.
I got the weekend one message showing that I will not be able to purchase tickets. Sold out?
It was too obvious to have TBK's tour align with Coachella, not to mention they didn't announce many west coast dates leading up to Monday. Then again Dre and Snoop had to have been in the back...
I hope to god they play "Party Hard".
I guess I was talking in terms of nobody had mentioned Yeezy or seriously discussed it before the lineup came out.
Death From Above 1979
And I don't think most of us saw Kanye West coming. KoL and Arcade Fire were givens.
Put them in the Duran Duran slot.
Kings of Leon had a small crowd for a headliner. I remember watching Crystal Castles, then leaving and cutting right through the crowd.
Sly Stone and Pavement in 2010 were small. I stood out all afternoon to get a spot for Pavement and was amazed when I turned around and there were like four rows of people. Sly was pretty small, but...
I don't think they would ever headline Coachella, but they'll either get 75 minutes on main stage or 90 minutes on Outdoor Theater.
Cosigned. These guys were amazing at Fun Fun Fun and their antics are just as awesome as their music. Arabia Mountain was one of my favorites of 2011, I would love to see them destroy one of the...
New Order is doing Ultra, I think they may be more and more likely to do Coachella now.
It's in that new Foo's documentary. I believe he pulled double duty that weekend with Queens.
I honestly don't think they'll be there. There's still an additional leg of the tour in the spring they need to announce, and all they've done today is announce three randomly placed shows. Maybe we...
