Two weeks after the lineup was released, here's the Feb poll that will remain open for the month.

How do you now rate this year's lineup?

It's a typical Coachella lineup. Lots of this, some of that and a good deal of "Who the hell is that?"
That is what makes it such a great festival. Lots of diversity to be enjoyed or avoided, depending on how your tastes go and if you like to experience new music and acts. This year is not my favorite line up, but there is a great many acts I've always wanted to see live.

It will be a great year as usual.

2013 has the second highest January lineup approval rating since 2009. Can't say I am surprised.

i think the rating might have gone up a bit.

Can we include a variable to compare unemployment numbers and/or the prime rate?

Im confused. I remember in 2011/ 2012 people were, in general, very happy with the line up. This year it seemed to receive a lot of negative press and a lot of people have been very vocal about the weakness of the headliners. I feel like there has been way more bitching this year than in, at least, the last two years. I love the line up, but I am very surprised by the results.

Yes, you are right - it is surprising given the level of whining about the lineup on the boards. There are also still weekend 2 tickets available (I think) and the lower demand could be due to people's perception that the lineup is not as good as previous years. (We can really only make that inference when comparing to 2012 since that was the start of the 2 week format.)

Those who are displeased are not voting in this thread; they're probably busy creating threads about how much the lineup sucks or trying to get rid of their passes.. The more artists I learn about, the more I like this lineup. Gonna be a great year!

If by people, you mean people on facebook, then sure I agree. But fuck them.

At this point I'm either I'm Disgusted or disapproving, leaning towards disgusted. Thinking of the acts themselves, the music isn't that good, so I will be keeping my eye out for acts that are supposedly good live.

No, this is the best lineup in years which is why the poll looks the way it does...

Out of curiosity, what kind of music do you like?

Feb is final. March coming in a week or so.
