Just to clarify, everyone. Gayngs is not Justin Vernon's side project. Nor a side project he can claim any sort of title to. Though he is in the band. His name cannot proceed the name of the band with any sort of possessive conjunction.

Shouting Matches will, however, play at night.
I would say switch Passion Pit and Jurassic 5. Or maybe switch J5 and Modest Mouse. I don't know about J5 on the Outdoor...
The Shouting Matches wont be playing that late, even if Justin Vernon is in the band.
They wont have Jello Biafra playing the same time as tokyo ska paradise orchestra, too similar of sounds.
You might as well switch beach house and metric's spots right now.
I can't imagine seeing J5 at night, they're a daytime band.
Something tells me How to Destroy Angels wont be playing any time past like 5 or 6
Something tells me post of your points are wrong......
My free time this week is virtually non existent, so if someone wants to take over these threads they can PM me their email address and I will send the templates. If not, I should probably be able to update this weekend.
A) no guarantees
B) Coachella 2011 - DFA 1979 was sixth on the poster that Sunday and played at 6pm on the main. Wiz Khalifa was 7th on the poster and played at 3:45. Nas & Damian Marley were 9th on the poster but played after Wiz.
C) read B, then see A again.
Yeah, if J5 doesn't play Outdoor I'd say evening Main as next best bet.
I could see them in a sunset main slot I suppose
MM vs. Foals...this would make me really upset.
that would be terrible indeed./
All conflicts on Friday are going to be horrible. Aside from J5, Grinderman, and Japandroids, I have decided I am not going to plan on seeing any of the artists playing this day until set times come out.
If I can see full sets from Blur, The Stone Roses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jake Bugg and Foals on Friday then I will be happy
Obviously the first three shouldn't be a problem, but I am worried that Foals will be at night in a tent.
Made a bunch of changes. Some minor, some drastic. Might as well play with a few different ideas.

Like these changes. Only things I'd say are I don't see Band Of Horses going on so early, which leads me to think they'll be in the Mojave or the Outdoor, probably the latter.
Also Two Door will probably be on the Outdoor. I don't see them playing in the Mojave again, as they did in 2011
new times are good. friday actually turns out pretty smooth, and i can catch 20 minutes of blur in there too. i'm impressed.
Of Monsters & Men vs. Johnny Marr vs. Japandroids
Ouch. That hurts me.
Really like the Friday. Sat/Sun are also solo. Though I'm sure the OMD/Rodriguez conflict will make some music fans of a certain age squirm.
Ignoring the EDM stuff for a moment, are RHCP the only act you think are getting a set over 80 minutes long?
I agree that Blur and The Stone Roses will split time but I think both acts will get more than 75 minutes. Muse and Tiesto's combined set time in 2010 was 170 minutes. Even in 2011 Kings Of Leon and The Chemical Brothers combined scheduled set time was 160 minutes. Also I really don't think that Of Monsters And Men will play in the Mojave. They scream Coachella or Outdoor to me.
On Sunday sadly I think that RHCP will get more than 90 minutes which means Nick Cave only gets an hour.
I have a feeling James Blake will closeout the Mojave against RHCP & I for one would much rather be there, he's amazing live!
Also think Grimes will be on a little earlier in the evening possible on the outdoor...would be amazing if it went Tame Impala, Rodriguez, Grimes, Nick Cave and then James Blake in Mojave!
Ok arguing about a five minute difference between two pairs of acts is retarded.
Nice, a lot of these make a lot of sense. However, I would suggest straight up switching Metric and Grinderman. Also, what do people think about the idea of switching J5 and Tegan and Sara? I just have a strong feeling J5 will be on the main and I could see Tegan and Sara at night on the outdoor.
Also, I like how you evenly split times for Blur and The Stone Roses. I have a feeling W1 The Stone Roses will "headline" and W2 Blur will "headline" with each of them having even set times both weekends.
Modest Mouse vs FOALS....put a gun to my head.
