Seen both of these shows in the past two months. Probably the 2 best shows I've seen in the past year!
If you like any or all of the above: punk, rock, jumping around, moshing, sustained high energy - do NOT miss The Oh Sees
If you like electronic, live instrumentation and vocals, swing, funk, dancing, jumping around, sustained high energy, and want to catch what is likely to be the best, most fun set of the entire weekend, do NOT miss Parov Stelar. Closing the Mojave is my guess because NO artist on Sunday could possibly follow their show and not appear extremely weak in comparison. This is how I plan on leaving the weekend on an extremely high note! Thank you GV!!!

Polica is almost a can't miss set for me now. LOVE what i'm hearing from this band.

Re: 2013 - Best finds of the year so far
The Neighbourhood is most likely the best group I've ever found on the bottom line of the Coachella lineup. Their production value is very very high for such a small band. I could see them blowing up in the near future.

Hanni el khatib - he is awesome digging his stuff so much.

Not really finnin Palma Violets from their youtube songs, but keen on the Birmingham bands Swim Deep ('Honey' has been my favorite song for weeks) and Jaws. Some good, young bands coming out of England again.

This. I am so into their album. Best use of autotune I've ever enjoyed.
Also:
Alt-J
Yeasayer
Local Natives
Dr. Dog (they were rumored to play, got way into them and then they weren't on the lineup)

Thanks to you sir I am now looking forward to this! Thanks
Besides a bunch that have already been mentioned here, I am excited for Theophilus London's show. Very upbeat music. Get up and shake-yah-rump-with-your-girl music. Looking forward to see how well that energy translates to a live performance. http://vimeo.com/28023422

You know, who needs a powerful, energetic live set, just so long as the production values are very very high? Fuck originality, to hell with dynamism, who gives a shit about the artist feeding off the crowd feeding off the artist feeding off the crowd? Because, you know, their production value is very very high. They're gonna blow up in the near future. Maybe as big as fun., even.

Re: 2013 - Best finds of the year so far
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. Have a hunch that these guys will bring a ton of fun and energy to an early afternoon tent set.

Re: 2013 - Best finds of the year so far
Way to twist my words TomAz. Where the fuck did I say that production value is vital to have a good band or performance? I never even said it was a good thing. Or is stating observations not allowed on this board? If you have so little to do then I would expect you to find better quotes to build insults from. Fun. is shit for many reasons that have nothing to do with their production value.
