I don't see Hot Chip headlining Outdoor. Just can't imagine them at that status yet. I think they'd be better suited in a tent like M83 last year and Cut Copy the year before it (Mojave I think?). They'll most likely put Two Door Cinema Club (or a act akin to them) before Hot Chip as well.Quote:

I also picture the XX on the main then the younger crowd moving over to see Hot Chip close the outdoor after while the dedicated Sigur Ros fans are at the main stage set before Phoenix. Sigur Ros more than deserve the "Animal Collective" awkward middle spot in between the much more popular band (Mumford & Sons/xx) and the closer.
FYI, I am using the 2011 set times almost exactly because we had a 6th stage that year. Still, not having the exact times on the spread sheet for each act trips people up while looking at it.
Why? They are billed for it. First three have virtually always been on the main, and I can't remember or find a time where the #4 has displaced the #2 or #3 on the main. Sigur Ros could tentatively go before the #3, sure, but their show is so dependent on lights, whereas New Order's is not. New Order --> Postal Service --> the XX --> Phoenix makes so much sense, with Sigur Ros closing or maybe playing in between the XX/Phoenix gap. I agree with whoever said think of Sigur Ros as Florence from last year's poster.Quote:
