Petition for Modest Mouse to Close the Outdoor THeatre with Lonesome Crowded West In

If their Coachella set is anything like Sasquatch 2011, we're in for a doozy. They were fucking on. The setlist drew most heavily from Good News, but was still career-spanning. Loved "Shit Luck" as the opener.

i was so pissed when i saw that sasquatch setlist.

the main set is stellar.

I was like 12 when I first heard that song and had only heard of Good News.. due to it's popularity at the time. Watching a skate video that featured it and was like, "who is this fucking awesome band singing this song?!!". Found out it was them (i thought they were a new band aha), immediately downloaded all their older albums and have been in love ever since. /coolstory

playing old modest mouse tunes on a jukebox at a bar has gotten me laid multiple times.

Oh yeah, I don't know how to embed this. But anyone who hasn't seen the documentary The Lonesome Crowded West, should watch it! It's really good and worthy of checking out.

I love LCW, but im dying to hear what they have in store for the new record.

My gf left halfway through Refused on Week 2 last year. She was coming down with a cold or something and tried to guilt me into leaving with her and taking her back to the tent.

I didn't move; she was pissed.... for like 30 minutes. I saw all of Refused. /coolstorybro

When I saw them last in Anaheim, they skipped that lyric. Don't know if it Was Isaac fucking up or they purposefully disregarded it, but it was easily the most disappointing lyric removal I've ever seen.
