They did not play a sunset slot in 09. Know how I know? Cause they played a sunset slot in 06... forty minutes later than the one they played in 09.
Correction: more than an HOUR later than when they played in 09.

Gunz, he's not hurting the board at all. Their set in '09 was good, but a nighttime slot will indeed be better.
I don't mean to be that guy, but I really hope that last Friday's show (in addition to the Brooklyn show last year) doesn't mean that they've dropped Y Control from their setlists.
I saw them once at night when they headlined Lolla in 2009 and they were great. Looking forward to seeing them again.

Agreed. YYY's 2006 was way better than 2009. Looking forward to seeing them this year. Would be happy if they headlined FYF Fest.

They played Bonnaroo earlier in the day than at Coachella in '09 and it was a much better set by all accounts. Night time sets are pretty much always better, but I think they just hadn't gotten into their groove of touring at that point.
They were the "afternoon headliner"(2nd biggest act of the day) at Bumbershoot in 2009 and were a bit better than Coachella 2009. I thinnk it rained a tiny bit during their set.Quote:
