Hasn't car camping usually opened up at 10 AM?
I just wanted to see the outrage of those who try to smash out to Indio supppppper early to park near the front of the entrance. You should still get your spot, just have to wait an extra 3 hrs.

hmm, that's what time i got there last year and was planning on getting there at the same time this year. This changes things...

it does, the line will most likely be very long before they start letting people in. Hopefully it will die down a little before people start getting off of work and make the trek. I'll probably shoot a little later this year.

From the camping section of the 2013 Advance Sale FAQ on the Coachella website:
Camping is open Thursday at 8am through Monday at noon either weekend. Cars can check in at 9am on Thursday until 2am and starting at 9am FRI-Sun (until 11PM). 24 hours for pedestrians parking in companion parking and walking over to camp spots. Please plan your arrival times accordingly.

Know what they have to do with Goldenvoice's actual decision of what time to open the campsite, something that probably hasn't even been fucking DISCUSSED by them yet? NOTHING. Frontgate knows fucking NOTHING of any concrete significance about when the campsite will open. Know why? BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T EVEN MADE THE DECISION.
