Pulp is only playing once, and no one else is playing at that time. The theater has a max capacity of 1150- unless they did horrible on ticket sales I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of people left out. Since they are the only band playing at that time, everyone will want to be there so even people that aren't really Pulp fans are going to go, possibly keeping the real fans out.
Also- what happened to the music on the grassy lawn. They still have it listed as one of the venues. Maybe that's where flying lotus is playing.

All I can deduce is that there will be less than 1150 people onboard, so just pay Pulp, Hot Chip, etc to do one show and stuff everyone into that one, rather than have them do two. So now nobody gets "the opportunity to see the headliners at least once", just once. The LA Weekly did say that sales were sluggish, but that would be way less than half capacity.Quote:
