Editable Coachella Poster Template
This is for making FAKE posters only.
Fake is flattened into the graphics, leave it that way!

This is a recreation of the 2007 poster. Every element is completely editable, and it contains a bunch of extra resources (old posters, alternate headers/footers, etc). Enjoy!

Thanks! This looks neat. Any idea why when I opened photoshop with it it said Error reading certain layers, Friday 2013 or something like that.

You might not have the necessary fonts installed.

Also if you have a mac use Pixelmator for best results. I unfortunately don't have photoshop installed at this moment so I can't fix the little quirks to make it show up correctly on photoshop.

Ok thanks for that. Ive never used photoshop before, so Im just clicking around...Seems a bit complicated. But great job! After deleting each letter from the message at the bottom of the template, I finally figured out there was a button that takes it off in 1 step. Im on a PC by the way.

Any idea how to change the color scheme on the entire poster, so its not tan like the 2007 poster...?

You're gonna have to View Layers, hide the 2007 background image, and then drag in a new background image. Here's a picture of how to do it in Pixelmator, it's generally the same in Photoshop.

Thanks, im slowly figuring it out... Got a sick color scheme... How do I grab the dot and put it in between band names?

Instead of creating an actual "dot", you're just better off pressing alt+7 (on the keypad) to create a bullet to go in between names.

Your lineup would get me to Coach this year for sure.

ugh i'm illiterate with these things but how do i use the other posters as templates?

I know, the lineup is coming out in a few days. But I updated the template to fix a few alignment errors, etc. New download links above.

I'm really confused right now....someone edited my first post and typed some weird/mean stuff, go look at it. The last edited date wasn't changed though...either a mod/admin changed it or someone hacked my account.

It's a warning stating that if you're gonna distribute fake posters, please put "THIS IS FAKE" or something on the background, so stupid morons on facebook will know its fake and not go posting it to a billion sites and spamming the coachella inboxes with "OMG IS THIS LINEUP???".

so when someone makes a fake poster, and posts it in the Fake Poster thread on this little message board and some idiots puts it on facebook claiming its real, its our faults? WTF. The whole point of making a poster, is to make something fake, wishlist like, if some idiot interprets that as real and legit, without looking at an official source, that person deserves to be bamboozled.

I have to agree with Paul on this one.

Updated....fake is now flattened into the graphics. Don't remove it. Don't pass these off as real posters. This is to make fake posters for fun only.

:nono boooooo oh well, Ive got the original template if anyone needs it. Is anyone thinking the Eminem/Rihanna fake poster thats going around is real? Whats the point. We all know the official poster is on coachella.com and no where else.

WE all know that, but that's not to say 90% of the people who want to attend Coachella know that. They'll believe anything they see somewhere on the internet and think they've somehow "found" the [insert year here] Coachella lineup.

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me get my hands on the PSD. Want to put my friends names on it to commemorate our trip this year. We got 20+ group of family and friends going.

Definitely will keep all of the fake info on it.
