What an awful interview. Dave barely knew who these guys were. Is Letterman always this bad?
Why? because he asked them to describe their own music?
Disagree because Dave is hip. If anything, I thought Zep was a difficult interview and sort of goofed on Dave. His band leader Paul has played with about anyone you could ever think about too. I would not discount Letterman for a few years to come (besides I thought his story about his son Harry was pretty funny). What I do think is funny is the "hotties" when they were young, are the worst looking of the bunch: Plant, Mick, Slick, Ringo being the opposite, cr****
You are the only person I know that ever thinks about Grace Slick at all anymore ever.
Plant looks like an old hippy...
I try to be politically pc more than most here: As a dude, anyone who could put a shark up a gals pc body, is pretty creepy, different and interesting. Just saying big time ..... cr****
What?
It was a red snapper Ron.
There's an entire Wikipedia page devoted to the "shark episode."
And on snopes.
I like that he considers it ok because she must have come 20 times.
I like the 'red snapper' pun.
I think it was actually a mud shark, Tom. Zappa even did a song called "Mudshark" to commemorate the event. The red snapper pun is just too delicious.
He can't be all that bad considering he joined the remaining members of Led Zep at the Kennedy Center to be awarded and honored for their contributions to the performing arts...

Ron, I'm glad you think it's funny because I thought of you every time they showed a closeup of Robert Plant...:lips
