Joe Johnston has been trying to get a Boba Fett movie off the ground for the last 15 years. It now has a better chance than ever of finally getting made. Whoever mentioned the possibility of offshoot films being made outside of the main episodes is right on the money, wouldn't be surprised to see the approach used for beating the hell out of the marvel universe. Oh what I would give for a hard-dog fighting rogue squadron movie or a film revolving around IG88 going through the galaxy snuffing out space scum for hire.

Also, theres no way episode 7 is coming out in 2015, no way.

Thats what I was just coming on here to ask. How long would the entire production take to complete from start to finish? Including casting and post production.

You guys realize that everything that Lucasfilms has done recently, from the new episodes to the new Indiana Jones movie, has been fucking awful, right? And now since Disney owns it, Episode 7 will magically not be terrible? This new episode will be fucking horrible.

Well I've only ridden it about 8 times so far on 3 different days, but Hoth comes up a lot. I really don't like the pod racing one.

Honestly, I don't even know how one could be bothered to be alarmed about this. Episodes 6, 1, 2, 3, and all the re-releases proved that in Lucas's hands Star Wars is a rape victim. Say what you will about Disney, they don't go around re-editing Snow White so that the dwarfs are all referred to as "little people." How could they possibly do a worse job than he has been?

yeah, maybe. A darker, sheer evil role tinged with a bit of wry humor or facial expressions (if a comedic element is even possible for a Sith. If not, just go flat, which he then may not sign up for). Haven't really liked him in anything since Ninth Gate.

Seems to me Sith are practically the only characters that ever get to be kinda funny. Sure as fuck the Jedi have been turned into a bunch of pussy ass dorks. I still think Palpatine in 3 was a turn deserving of a supporting Oscar. That guy was fucking fantastic to watch.

Jar Jar Binks was hilarious.

But really, at least the wookies get to be funny by dint of being bears with guns.
