At a certain point they run out of potential rap GOATs to follow Jay-Z with. Eminem is obviously still available but I'd be really surprised if he was booked a year after he made a guest appearance. That being said I think Cudi is the most likely choice should outkast still be unrealistic. especially with "Indicud" possibly coming out before april.

Why would Eminem headlining a year after a guest appearance surprise you? The Strokes co-headlined the year after Julian Casablancas played a "solo" set.


Kid Cudi is not a headliner. He would be in the Jack Johnson category of weak headliners, maybe worse.

I've seen some pretty heated debates on here about who qualifies as headliner material... and I can see where some people, who are obviously wrong, might THINK an artist is headliner material... but Kid Cudi?
