the lineups are/were booked much earlier this year than last year.
It's worth mentioning that there was more overlap with the 2011 Lolla Chile and Coachella lineups.
Coachella is still trying...

If that didn't work, then I doubt anything ever will.
fucking millions of dollars.
The Lolla Chile lineup was posted. Here is the link to the Lolla Brazil lineup the week before. http://lineup.lollapaloozabr.com/
To save you some time, it's Lolla Chile's lineup + The Killers.
How many times has Marr been booked to do Coachella?
Paul Weller guesting in 2009, cribs volcano gig in 2010.....?
Please no The Killers, Muse, No Doubt, The Black Keys or Soundgarden (as headliners)
The lineup for Lolla Chile is actually really good. I think this acts will be at the polo fields for sure:
QOTSA, Deadmau5, TDCC, Crystal Castles, Passion Pit and Of Monsters and Men. hopefully Pearl Jam as a headliner
Alabama Shakes seem like a lock as well amongst the Lolla lineup
Thanks for the update, that's interesting news. I just did a little research and found an article that says it's (maybe) due January 2013. This is new to me.

Not saying Arcade Fire would even be considered for Coachella, just excited for a new album. It's too soon for them to return right?
Article about the whole VegiChella Smiths offer in the Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...n_1930181.html
I read on well respected Canadian radio broadcaster Alan Cross' blog that there's rumors about Pearl Jam and Soundgarden touring together due to the fact both have albums coming out and both have Matt Cameron as their drummer http://www.alancross.ca/a-journal-of...-together.html
that's magmazing!
Did any of you guys see this not-actually-real poster?

They say its from the same source who called refused early last year? But his poster last year was pretty unrealistic, despite getting a handful right.

the fray? automatically the worst fake lineup based on that alone. then again, neon trees have played....
Saw this on Reddit earlier today.
Two things, despite this being obviously fake:
1. Why the fuck has Armin van Buuren appeared on every fake lineup since 2010?
2. Eric Prydz on Friday and Pryda on Sunday? They're the same person, playing the same music. Eric Prydz plays mostly Pryda tracks, actually.
Eva Cassidy (listed on the Saturday of that poster) die in 1996. I don't think anyone's developing a hologram of her.
Also The Smashing Pumpkins cancelled their show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver (home of arguably one of their best ever shows back in 1997) apparently due to low ticket sales. So unless it's a reunion with all the original members the Pumpkins headlining is laughable.
doesnt seem like a full tour is on Matt's radar...... but a "one off" is possible.
Quote:
“After I play like, I don’t know, two hours with Soundgarden, my day is done,” Cameron said. “I think when we did the PJ20 show Chris came out to that and we played some Temple of the Dog stuff and it was awesome.”
Cameron went on to suggest that a one-time concert bringing together the famed bands could happen, but it’s all up in the air: “Maybe there might be a one off where that could happen, but I’m not 25 anymore.”
to me, the smashing pumpkins are laughable! especially concidering they are currently selling tickets for their show here in San Diego on groupon.
