Was up 24 points, was feeling good, but then....
Damn you, Jordy Nelson.... DAMN you.
Fucking Rivers. I was at the SF Giants game (awesome time by the way) so I could not have given a fuck about MNF or my already lost fantasy season. Still curious though, while waiting in a beer line at ATT Park I checked the score before halftime and was up by several points. Knowing I had sealed a pointless victory, I continued ignoring the pointless MNF game. Then the Giants win. Chaos.
When I get home however, it appeared I had lost. What? I was winning before halftime with my opponent having no players left? Then I looked a little deeper. The 2nd to last play of the game, I was up by about 1 point. On the last play of the game that butter-fingered douche lost a fumble and got -2 points, making me lose by about a point. On the last play of the game. I hope Rivers get mouth cancer.
Barring a crazy stat correction tomorrow, wait nevermind I don't give a shit about this lost season anyways. Congrats to everyone that didn't draft Forte/Fred Jackson/Lynch/Lloyd/Rivers, you did what I couldn't.
Now for some lip reading fun
" That was the worst day ever ...*hocking noise* "
Yes, yes, sweet tears... This victory will live in my heart forever. You should consider the possibility that you have been judged harshly by the fantasy football gods, and that this outcome is a some sort of comment on your character.
And now, Sean, you have my permission to die.
Pretty sure we all expected some sort of classy quip from you. Way to come through.
Zero fucks, Bob, zero fucks.
My bench going into this week:
Jimmy Graham (status unknown) I have Jason Witten in as starting TE this week
MeMarco Murray (inj)
Peyton Manning (bye)
Julio Jones (bye)
Donald Brown (inj)
Mark Ingram (@TB)
Mike Williams (NO)
I need to drop at least one of these so I have a QB this week. Is there any reason I should keep Mark Ingram or Mike Williams at this point?
Drop Ingram. He's useless as long as he's a Saint.
Yeah drop Ingram. I would keep Williams.
He had a really good rookie year and might be returning to form with defences focusing on Jackson.
Couple of questions if you experts wouldn't mind helping me out...
Pick Two (PPR League)
1. Andre Johnson vs BUF
2. Denarius Moore vs TB
3. Jeremy Maclin @ NO (Monday night)
Pick One at the Flex (.5/PPR)
1. Anquan Boldin @ CLE
2. Alex Green vs ARI
I appreciate any advice yall can offer!
For the PPR league go with Dre Johnson v. BUF, and Maclin @ N.O.
I personally like starting RB's at my FLEX so I'd go with Alex Green v. AZ. Packers should get up pretty early and will want to run.
thanks Sepa. That's where I was leaning too. I like having a guy involved in the Monday night game. And I feel like Green is bound to go off for 100 yds or at least a TD at some point!
Anyone else having problems with the Yahoo site today? It is running very slow and it keeps timing out on me.
Same, haven't been able to get it to load all day.
I tried to adjust my roster before game time to start Greg Olsen instead of Brandon Pettigrew. Didn't make it in time, if I lose because of that I am going to be pissed.
Yahoo apps have been no help today. The main site has been working though.
All of our rosters should be adjusted to give optimal lineups after this nonsense. That might be the "fairest" thing to do since this has negatively affected the majority of people.
Tried putting in Danario Alexander over Brian Hartline last minute but wasn't too bummed at first. Then I got furious. Then I was okay because I won anyways.
And no way in fuck was someone starting Ingrahm over anyone.
Good grief, more shenanigans this year.
I made one change to the lineups based on a message I received requesting a lineup change of QB before the 1PM ET deadline. I put it through, and that change ended up costing that manager 7 points.
This has been a bad year for Yahoo. If this kind of thing happens again, by all means, send me a message before the lineups get locked and I can change your starting lineup after the fact. But keep in mind - there are no "takebacks".
I can't even imagine what possible steps Yahoo could be coming up with to fairly address yesterday. No matter what, millions of people will be mad and there will be a giant asterisk on this week and most likely season.Quote:
We apologize sincerely for the outage on Sunday. We are working on the fix—the site is stabilized—and will update everyone on next steps for how to handle week 10. Currently, data and scores can be viewed on our mobile apps but for now you cannot make transactions or change line-ups from the apps.
