Eric Prydz at the Palladium!!

How was the show, Young Geezy?

I had a great time! I went in knowing kind of what to expect based on the recent mixes of his I listened to so even though it was pretty cheesy I enjoyed myself. I have no idea about what tracks he played, but I think he mixed them well and the crowd was way into it. Toward the end he lost my attention just a bit because I felt the tracks took awhile to get going, but I kind of expected that too. I was also pretty tired by the end of his set (grandma Casey in the house!) so that may have contributed to it.

Putting the G in Grandma. What'd you think of the venue?

Him: What does a girl like you drink? When he comes back I'll get it for you. (referring to the bartender)
Me: Oh, that's really kind of you but that's okay.
Him: No seriously, what do you want?
Me: I'm going to order a Jameson and Coke for me and a beer for my boyfriend, a Heineken.
Him: Okay, well I'll order yours for you when the bartender comes back.
Me: That's okay, I'll just order everything together
Him: No way, you can't order your own drink.
Bartender comes over
Him: I'll have blah blah blah blah
Bartender comes back with stuff, the guy hands me my drink
Him: Here you go, it was $8.
Me: Thanks? (hand him a $20, he gives me change)
Him: Have fun tonight!

...and I still had to order my boyfriend's drink. I loved that he ordered it for me and then said, "...it was $8" It left me with more questions than answers. What is a girl like me? Why didn't he order my bf's drink too if he was just being nice? Does he do this all the time? At first I thought he was hitting on me and then I was just bewildered at what had just transpired.

I really liked it! I had never been there. I loved the layout, setup, and sound. I don't know why it took me so long to go.

Yeah, its in Santa Ana. They actually book a lot of notable dj's but you wouldnt know cause you dont pay attention if its not in the 323 area code. They just had James Ziebela and Wolfgang Gartner was there last weekend.

Eh, whatever. Palladium was fun and luckily Jorge hooked up the cheaper ticket. That being said, I doubt I would go to Yost to see him based on the Palladium show, though I'd like to make it out there sometime.
