Green Day doesn't just play huge sellout shows, they'll do wayyyy smaller gigs than a 900 capacity venue

Just weird that that's their SF date. I guess their Sacramento and Santa Cruz dates could satisfy diehards, but you'd think a band of their size would have booked Shoreline (near Palo Alto), HP Pavilion (San Jose), or Oracle Arena (Oakland) for a Bay Area/SF performance. Maybe they are an Outside Lands headliner and they will do their LA show(s) in conjunction with that? Otherwise I gotta hope that somebody better than David Guetta is playing the Sahara the same night...

They are skipping a lot of major cities on the first leg so you guys don't need to start freaking out unless a second leg is announced without an LA area show :D

KROQ's Almost Acoustic X mas is December 8th and 9th. Plus San Diego has their x mas show on the 7th if I am correct. So I am quoting this for now, because in November you guys will be breathing a sigh of relief.

Depeche Mode and Muse both played KROQ Almost Acoustic X Mas and Coachella in the past so that doesn't rule Green Day out at all.

So pretty much you guys are wanting Green Day and The Killers to play Coachella next year. Good one guys.

I can think of at least a half dozen prior Coachella headliners who are worse than Green Day. And I agree, Green Day would be a far superior choice over the drek that is No Doubt.
